Good Morning

My name is Nosipho Metsing ID 8609210788089.
I have a complain since i sent my coaches for repairs since 6 march 2020 that is 3 weeks before lockdown to date. I went to store several times and cant get any help.

My coaches were collected by JD supply ref: MO-Z- 20200204-4218 in Johannesburg hillbrow.
I have been consulting the store about the progress and i cant get any assistant has been sent from pillar to post bradlows in jhb cbd by jeppe street. Here their contact number 010 1331 865.
Please relate to the attached copy of pick up note.

I now relocated to Mafikeng in the north west due to unforeseen circumstances
I tried to explain the urgency but still couldnt get any help.

I even consulted mafikeng bradlows and the store manager did try to help but still the gauteng branch didnt know about the coaches.

I really need urgent assist in this regard before i taking any further by exposing or consulting the omburds man.

I have sent out my coaches for repairs due to factory fault since the 06-03-2020 to date haven't received any feedback as yet.

I went to bradlows in jhb cbd by jeppe street several times with no help. I tried to explain the urgency of the coaches as i was relocating to north west province in mafikeng by the end of July.

I have a pick up slip from JD Group is attached.

I need assistance in this regard ASAP

I bought a bed online on 26 June 2020, the order was placed and paid for online [order number #800009531], but to date I have had no clear directive as to when exactly the bed will be delivered. I had correspondence from Elizabeth Motaung, the online manager on 14 July 2020, saying that she will find out from the supplier how long it will take for them to deliver the bed. She said that I should email her proof of payment and she will will let me know what the supplier says about turn around time, which I did but to date there has been no further communication. I got contacted by Aldridge today requesting details of the order, which I have already provided to Elizabeth, so I really don't get why I should keep providing details of the same order over and over again.

I need a definite response on this and if the supplier cannot supply the bed I'd like my account refunded in full so I can make alternative plans.

Oh my goodness this just depressed as I have been waiting for my online order since 19 July 2020 and nothing has happened. I was hoping to get my goods this week. I have been calling, texting in the chat and tweeting like crazy. No response!!!

Bought new Rhapsody lounge suite at the end of February. Two weeks after delivery, logged a call with the Northgate branch, as the 2-seater arm rest was loose. This was repaired. On 17 June 2020, the branch was again contacted to inform them that the single, double and three-seater all had various damages that needed repair or preferable replacement, as this suite is not even 5 months old yet. Till to date, no reference number has been received, the call center don't answer their phones for me to log a complaint. And the branch has "replaced" my "new" suite with the suite from the store floor (Demo suite) that is missing the center cushion on the two center, and itself has got various damage on the furniture. This is unacceptable that I'm paying for a new suite, however nothing is being done to replace the damaged furniture with new furniture.

I placed my order on the 11th of July already for Sealy Tivoli 183cm (King) Firm Bed Set of R4999, order number 800010122 – WHERE IS MY BED????

No phone calls, no answering of phone calls - we need to get Bradlows closed down if they cannot commit to customer service!!!!

Hi Liesl, I am sitting in the same situation with a bed I ordered - no delivery, no communication, no feedback - Bradlows should be closed down if they cant give customer service for paying customers!!!

I tried calling the customer care and no joy at all. I sent numerous emails and the only email i get back is did someone contact you? I am absolutely disappointed with the outcome. The call centre never answers. Who do i phone? This recliner set is R20000. I did call grafton everest. They asked me to lodge a complaint with bradlows first..

My brother bought a fridge for us at bradlows Ermelo,it happened that the fridge stopped working in January 2020,we went to the shop to report the fridge they kept on saying they will look up to it until lockdown started in March,we went there again they told us its lockdown they cannot do anything,lastmnth on the 22june they brought repairs to check the fridge it only worked for a day then stopped working,we went there again to tell them the fridge is not working again and if they don't do anything about it we will stop paying it,cause it doesn't help paying for something that is not working ,the lady in charge by the name Tholakele said we must do whatever makes us happy,I wondered how can she say that while it's their duty to report broken appliances.can u please help

I've bought a bedroom suite at Bradlows trade route mall.
The application took forever and the service was so poor,as if that's enough I waited almost three weeks for delivery when I finally received the suite it was damaged two weeks ago I filed a complaint at the store,head office sent a guy to pick the damaged item to go for repairs and I refused because why must I send something to repairs which I payed for I want a new item if not then I refuse to pay the full price for the items purchased.

i have never in my life came across such a ruthless disrespectful human being on this planet. God knows how the hell you employ a manager to mange such a well recommended branded name like "BRADLOWS" my wife and i were so shocked at the disgusting service!!!!! check your camera footage were did u see a manager actually wakes up to fight with a customer???? what kind of illusion disgusting behaviour is this you offer to have give us? after i spent R12,000 buying a bed and fridge at your store? i want the owner to contact me before end of business day this is going to go viral and all over the social media platforms should i not expect feedback.

I bought a dining room suit for R19 000 at Bradlows Fochville in November 2019 where by sometimes in February 2020 my wife noticed that the chairs are cracking. We reported the matter over and over without the necessary help to collect and replace. Out of sturdiness I again bought a Sienba bedroom suid where the head board is like and might cause injuries to me and my wife as we are sitting with the risk of sustaining injuries due to Bradlows negligence. I am so disappointed that I am prepared to return all 3 items bought and to take my money elsewhere where my needs as a customer will be acknowledged. What Bradlows is doing you will constantly receive calls from an 021 number which I think is a call centre somewhere in Cape town and when u fo follow ups you get a different person.i have reach a point where I have decided that on Friday 31 July 2020 I am returning all your goods for a refund I really cant take it anymore. I gave soend around R40 000 for a disservice which is unacceptable and a serious non conformance from a business like Bradlows.

A week before the lockdown Bradlows took my couches for repairs and maintenance and the agreement was after they have finished they will deliver them. To date my coaches ares still with brad lows and to my surprise after I went to their branch in Cosmo City , I was told that they won't repair my coaches after almost 4 months in possession of my couches. Why do I pay insurance the? What happened to a warranty

I bought the Alpine lounge suite cost R40.000 cash. The day of delivery we noticed that it has scratches also others places it was flacking off. We immediately report to Maki around March 2020.


It was then attended on the 20/07/2020.I then phone Maki from Bradlows Mayfield square Daveyton to confirm, indeed she confirmed that I should allow the guys to take all the Lounge suite,as conducting the follow up when they will bring the Lounge suite back, she said she will call me in 2minutes on the 22/07/2020 she did not.

I then phone her back to speak with the manager she also said she will phone me back after 2 minutes also the manager didn't.

I then decided to approach the Bradlows store today 24/07/2020, fortunately I was assisted by Maki again also asked to speak to the manager Maki said ok although she is busy, we waited for the manager for a long time no one was bothering to update us. We then decided to leave.

Im very disappointed at you guys cause its seems as its Bradlows culture not to service customer professionally, as the history repeating it self as I bought the bedroom suite cash 2019, customer no 10653078 they deliver it after 2months and incomplete the carboad was not delivered no explanation until I asked, serviced by Maki again.

Please kindly assist because as we speak my lounge is empty no chairs to sit on and worse my money is with you guys.

The explanation I got from Maki as I laid the complain around March she said the guys from the warehouse will come and exchange the Lounge it came into my surprise when they collected all the Lounge suite.

Kindly assist me urgently or can I have my money back so that I can have other option because you guys have failed me especially Maki cause I believed she was the one who was supposed to update me but its on the other way around im the one now who is a fool in front of their eyes. Im very very disappointed at your store and service that I received.

I settled my laybye on 17/04 paid through online, went to enquire many times as my money is not appearing on my account. The mafikeng workers also send emails to finance department with my bank statement as a proof of payment, which I also did it personally, but no response from any email till today.

Good day I bought a lounge sure at a cost of R38000 in 2018 at Bradlows I. Uitenhage thinking I'm buying a good quality product from an furniture shop with excellent name reputation. In 2019 july/August I had to return the lounge due to quality material after which I received a new one in November. The one I received in November had quality issues to I had to return it 22/23March, the manager of the brunch had promised to follow up on the metter and will arrange for new lounge, unfortunately we had lockdown which prevented us from getting our lounge on time. After lifting of lockdown I went to the branch several will no progress what so ever. I feel like we have been to patient with you team moreover the lounge is fully paid long time. I am considering to seek legal advice but I felt before I do to that I must seek other avenue to assist. Can you guys please follow up on this matter that has been with your time for a long time now. This soo unacceptable and very unprofessional of you guys. Please please assist us.

I went into Bradlows in Nelspruit, I showed the person which bed I wanted a Sealy trivoly bed with a flip top and showed him a photo and he took me to a trivoly bed same size and color but not exactly same as the Pic and since I believed he was an expert and knows their stock I went ahead and did a payment. The bed took long to be delivered and then I only realized a day after that the bed I received actually is not what I wanted. So they made me pay for a wrong type of bed and now they don't want to exchange it because they say I had already opened the bed and used it. But it was their fault I bought the wrong one in the first place. Now the bed is not comfortable at all and I am frustrated that I can't even look at any Bradlows store anywhere when I pass by. This makes it hard for me to go lay a complain to tell them the bed is not so comfortable because I will be left with no bed once they come take this one for inspection. I will never even recommend someone to go shop at Bradlows ever. Bad service.

Hi I'm Gugulethu Dlamini. I bought a awt of Mangum couches on 20 Deco 2019. Within a month we noticed tbat they were separating from their origanal position and becoming abnormal, tilted and un even at first glance. Then I notified Umzinto Bradlows branch. A guy came to fix it. But said he did what he could. However they were not fixed. Later we went back to Bradlows to inform them. I have purchased 2 beds on Bradlows online on the 24 June 2020, fully paid up until today 21 July 2020, it has not been delivered. The 0114080341 just rings no answer and the email address you provided mosi***@jdg.co.za no response. My question is what kind of business are you running? Is your online service a fraudulent platform or what’s going on? My order number 800009472 just says order successfully placed, it’s almost a month now. Can I have my money back please, I have waited long enough. I have logged a complaint with consumer ombudsman as well. For someone needs to investigate this business as this cannot keep on going on like this, it is not fair to us consumers.
