My name is Getty Tau. I bought a Sorento dining room suit from Bradlows in Midrand,inclusive of the delivery fee, the cost was R12 849.95 on the 06/06/2020. My furniture was delivered but the table had no legs, only the table top and chairs delivered on the 10 June 2020. We contacted Raymond (Consultant/Salesperson at the shop) the same day of delivery when we noticed there were NO legs delivered. He logged a call but nothing happened todate. We visited the store 3 times already without any tangible help other than being told the call has been logged.The shop has made so many escalations of this matter (to the warehouse and the complaints dept, with no response.It's almost a month now sitting with incomplete goods that we can't use. I'm really not happy with the service we are getting from Bradlows and need this issue resolved urgently. I feel that my rights as a consumer have been violated and that Bradlows isn't taking their customers seriously. Please send the table legs as I don't owe you a cent. I need feedback urgently on how and when this issue will be resolved.

I brought a bed with bradlows at Kempton park festival mall , I paid it in full via a laybuy, they giving me an attitude with their manager and refusing to deliver my bed which I paid for, it's inappropriate of your company to hire a number of stuff that has no respect for it's customers. I do not wish to continue business with your now I want my money back, I've run out of patience.

I had an account with Bradlows and I never missed any payments until I settled the account before the stated date. I paid my accounts on time, and I never had any issues with the store, but when I tried to apply for credit again I was declined due to affordability. What I don't understand I took a loan of R 150 000 after I was rejected by Bradlows in one of the well known banks and I'm paying R 5 379.00 Monthly. I wanted an item that was going to cost me less than R 120. 00 in monthly installments from Bradlows and I was told I could not afford to pay R 120.00 monthly of which that is ridiculous. I made another loan of R 61 000 and R38 000 from different credit providers on top of the first one. In total I'm paying these 3 loans R 11 520.00 monthly and I also have other accounts that I'm paying including my own personal expenditures, but Bradlows is continuing to say I cannot afford to pay very small amounts. I got promoted and my salary increased, but according to Bradlows I still cannot afford. It seems as if it doesn't matter how much I'm earning, according to Bradlows I will remain poor, as if the store has something personal with me.

What kind of credit check system is used by Bradlows that rejects it's own good customers? Why don't Bradlows look at the relationship the store had with it's customers before declining them. When I have cash I don't buy anymore from Bradlows, the reason is clear, you cannot support a store that keeps on denying you, whereas your record is clean with them.

I pay all my monthly accounts/debts. The maybe one reason why credit bureau is giving false information:

1. System may not have been updated, to show that I have settled some accounts like the Bradlows one. I also noticed that according to credit bureau I had two Jet accounts whereas I've got one. There's an MBD that is not known to me that is saying I'm paying them something around R7 000.00 a month.

Some institutions verify the information they got from credit bureaus with their potential clients, hence I am able to be cleared in most cases. The currently used credit check system is going to cost the store in future, because randomly rejecting customers irrespective of whether they are good or not for me is not the way to go. Currently the store may have customers that are qualifying for credit, but in reality they are very bad customers and they are going to bring the store all sorts of problems.

If Bradlows is feeling strongly that they don't want me as their customer there's nothing I can do, except the one that I have done now of bringing my grief forward.

I bought couches last, they got torn this year I reported them and they were collected this year January, it's now July and my couch has still not been returned, whenever I enquire about it I'm sent from pillar to post and the worst part is they are busy debuting money from me every month but I don't even have that couch, I'm so disappointed in the service iv been getting from bradlows I don't see myself buying from you guys or referring any person I know.

On the 5th of June I cancelled my laybye and requested for refund the lady from Bradford in Springs Town asked for my bank statement which was produced and told me it takes 7-14 days to get my money I waited until I called on the third week for feedback the lady told me everything has been processed the delay it’s from Head Office and the manager who is never at the store called me to bring my ID to the store coz the last copy is not clear so what annoying the most so didn’t see that problem before they have to tell me after 3 freaken weeks after I’m the one who made the first call abt my refund they don’t do follow up to customers which is such a let down to my concern now do I have to wait for another 2nd month for my refund to be processed or it’s how you eat people’s money

GOOD DAY, I HAVE CONTACTED THE BRADLOWS STORE IN CITY VIEW DURBAN ABOUT MY BROKEN TABLE ABOUT 8 MONTHS AGO. I WAS FIRST TOLD THAT THE LADY I BOUGHT FROM NO LONGER WORK FOR THE STORE. I WENT BACK BEFORE CHRISTMAS AND I WAS HELPED BY A VERY KIND LADY AND SHE LOGGED A COMPLAINT. IVE BEEN WAITING ALL THIS TIME AND ON FRIDAY I WAS CALLED FOR CONFIRMATION OF ADDRESS AND THE GUYS DID COME FOR PICKUP BUT THE ITEM THAT WAS WRITTEN ON THE REPAIR NOTE WAS :-CHAIR NOT TABLE. SO THEY HAVE TO LEAVE WITHOUT TAKING IT. IT WILL BE ALMOST A YEAR WITH A BROKEN TABLE AT HOME. I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS ISSUE AND I MEED IT TO BE SOLVED!!!!!

Good day my name is Rebecca, I am writing this on behalf of my mother. Our bedroom suite was taken in for repairs before lockdown in February. We understood that it's not coming because of the lockdown once your stores opened we received a call saying that they won't fix the bedroom it's beyond repair. Ok we understood, it's over a month no call anymore from head office our bedroom suite we still waiting. I must say bradlows service has changed over the years it's very very poor. I wouldn't recommend your store to anyone anymore.

I bought on the 09.06.2020 Praque 3 PCE Daybed brown Couches at bradlows in carnival mall, the couches were delivered on the 12.06.2020, they did not have the couched in store but showed me the couches in the catalogue. 3 Days late on the 15.06.2020 I reported that I am not happy with the couched it’s too small and that I will take the couches that I saw in store that is more expensive than the ones that I bought. I was told that they will send an email to headoffice and come back to me, which they didn’t, I called customer service on the 16.06.2020 no answer. I called the customer service complaint line on the 17.06.2020 and explained that I am not happy with the couches and they gave me a REV 9000109446 and was told that they will contact me, STILL WAITING. On the 22.06.2020 the lady from the carnival branch called me to inform me that they can’t help me due to lockdown, why did they sell me this couches in the first place if its lockdown and now they are not able to help me but the store operates, I only want to exchange the couches that’s it. CANT SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. I would appreciate your feedback.

Morning my name is noluvuyo gxakuma id no 9108020114080 I have a problem with my hicense led tv which am still paying for it, it went blank and I had to take it back to furniture shop it's been a month now no feedback no nothing no one is phoning to tell me how long will it take to be fixed yesterday I phoned bradlows Khayelitsha mall they lady asked who was helping me when I wanted the TV I told her it's Joseph she said he's still busy with another customer he's gonna call me back and I told her everytime I phone he's always busy and he doesn't get back to me she shouted me saying I must phone back another time and I phoned they where dropping the phone because they can see my number and it's not the first time I phone wanting to know about my product and never got help am always told to wait for Joseph who always busy and never get back to me now can you tell me how am I supposed to know about my product when will it be fixed if I don't get help is this how you treat your customers when they already bought your products that am still paying for it and now am paying for something that doesn't exist

On Saturday the 6 June, I visited your Bradlows store at the East Rand Value Mall, to purchase a lounge suite and a sideboard. Black sideboard was on show on the floor instore. I asked the Sales Person of they it in stock and she said yes, we continued with the Sale, I paid cash total amount of R20999
I was told they can only deliver the Monday or Tuesday the 9 June.
Tuesday came, no delivery and no call from anyone from Bradlows ito delivery. I had to call the store to find out when they will deliver my stock. I was told the delivery people from the warehouse will call me. Wednesday came,and I received my lounge suite, no sideboard.
I called the Sales person in the store and she told me they will deliver the sideboard on Thursday.
Came Thursday, no delivery until I was called to say they dont have the sideboard in stock, or at any other Bradlows store ss this product has been discontinued, I cannot understand why this was never told to me on the day of the purchase and payment.
The sales person told me she can give me a discount if I take the sideboard on the floor which is not new and not in 100% good condition. I asked for a refund and was told they dont refund in cash but they must transfer the money into my bsnk account and therefore she require bank statement and ID copy and she will send to headoffice to process and it will take up to 7 working days.
First of all why must I expose my bank statement to anyone, it is confidential. I can privide a letter confirming my bank account.
Secondly, why must I wait so long for my money for the Sales lady's incompetance..
I think this was done very unprofessionally.
Please can you check with your staff at East Rand Value Mall- Zodwa, and Dikeledi.
I would appreciate your feedback.

RE: Complaint 3758, no feedback received up till today, also no refund back into my account since ive submitted my bank account details, its passed the SLA. If this is the reaction we as customers getting, then I suggest you send all your staff for refresher course on customer service or close all your stores. Please can I get my money or I take this matter further. Thank you
