Had the same experience. Rented a car for just few hours. Gave AED 3K deposit. And never got it back.
This was all the way back in November 2018. Complained to customer rights multiple times, actions promised but never got the money. Went to office (near the airport and Deira City Center as far as I know) but they moved out. Don't think I will get the money back.
