I am so highly disappointed with the service received to cancel my contract, after numerous attempts prior to my contract being over I had contacted the call centre to cancel my contract, I even sent an email on the 01 July 2020 to cancel my contract, today wen I finally get through to call to centre to cancel my contract they tell me I cant till the end of the month when my contract ended in July. I have not used any data for the last 2 months, i do not want this contract any longer and I want it cancelled now. This is unacceptable. If no response received I will go to Hello Peter.

I have been trying to cancel my contract which expired, but they keep charging monthly. I have sent maybe 20 emails. They don't respond by phone either.

We are literally having the same issue as Rakhi. We have tried calling to cancel, even went in to the store and she supposedly 'cancelled' it in front of the owner. We are still being debited for this contract and we don't even use the phone at all. Why is it so hard to cancel a contract? This is exactly why we have moved everything to MTN. Vodacom customer service is atrocious. We need this contract cancelled with immediate effect or we will take it further.

I am facing the same issue. They refuse to assist me. I am now determined to take this to social media. I am hoping to get as many people to join in the petition #vodacommustfall

I have the same problem with Vodacom, been trying to cancel a contract for months, but it has been a complete nightmare. I will definitely be joining the petition because I've had it. #vodacommustfall

The service from Vodacom is pathetic to the core. They do not respond to emails and if you call, you will get transferred around the call centre.
Rakhi Dhawnarain, take your case to Social Media. I'm sure they will respond lightning-fast

I'm also considering canceling my contract, I've been paying 4 insurance every month but nobody bother 2 call me 2 inform me my cover is far less than the phone is worth, now I'm sitting with a problem where I'm paying close 2 R800 4 a month 4 a worth of R5000 I only qualified 4 after my phone got stolen
