We have various accounts with Vodacom that require a service rendered by Vodacom. This service is critical for the continuation of our business and the financial loss could be detrimental at any given stage that this service is not fully operational.

Problem/s that we experience is that at times we do not have network coverage. Power failures and/or load shedding we experience the same result..

1. Yesterday 16/11/2020 we almost suffered a R3 million loss due to network unavailability.
2. Our ERS clocking system do not update
a. This result cause overpayment on our payroll.
b. Disputes arise that we can't argue - Absenteeism, Time off, Overtime claims, forcing Us to pay.
3. Boreholes, unable to switching on and off via cell phone
4. Security gates - entrance and exits unavailable at sites as access is controlled.
5. Alarms and warning sms's not received by appointed staff to attend to high risk matters
6. Contacting of key individuals to attend to high risk matters are also impossible "No Network".
7. We have laws and rules to abide to, due to operating in the food sector. We depend on the support of technology (Network availability) to achieve the desired result/outcome.
a. Deviations can have reputational risk and possible corporate contracts not to be renewed (Resulting in further financial loss and/or retrenchments)
b. Ultimately close of business - Leaving +/- 700 employees and households without an income.
8. We have generators to assist when power failures are experienced and trust Vodacom's tower/s also have the same equipment to assist .
9. We have network boosters installed as we deem the availability of network to be important to the continuation of our business.

We require solutions. Please advice, fix and/or resolve our network availability issues.
