Shalom Bus Services Complaints

Last week Friday (30th April 2021), the staff of Shalom bus services opted to use a bus that was not mechanically fit to travel from JHB to Zambia, putting the lives of the passengers in danger.
(i) The bus left JHB at around 4pm when it was scheduled to leave at 8am - seriously delaying time of arrival
(ii) The bus had a tyre burst and whilst that was being fixed, one of the bus crew members got injured - indicates safety checks not done or bus had old tyres or heavily loaded
(iii) The bus had to spend the night on the road side exposing passengers to accidents by on passing traffic or being mugged-sadly it happened, see attached picture. It could have been worse when the bus was hit by a truck.
(iv) Failure to provide alternative transport on time when it had already been ascertained that the bus was not mechanically fit to travel that long distance
(v) Failure to adhere to allowable baggage haulage restrictions adding to poor bus performance and delays
(vi) Exposing passengers to danger, exhaustion and hunger
(vii) unprofessional conduct by your staff members (Sthembile in JHB & Jack in Zambia) - they failed to respond to text and phone calls when I wanted to know where the bus was and what was causing delays as I had my children on board

This is very unacceptable considering you are providing transport services to passengers for long distances. Safety should be your priority number one!
I doubt I shall ever be needing your services ever again after this nasty experience.
