I was at the branch in 639 Punggol Drive and made some purchases. One of the item was a Sunshine bread. I thought it comes with a free Kaya but was told it only comes with the bigger loaf.I was brought to a sign which indeed shown the Kaya is free only with the bigger loaf. I then said I don't want to purchase the loaf then but was told by the cashier. CANNOT.- because money is paid into machine. Sounds ridiculous. I do not want to create a bigger scene because of the current pandemic situation but would really want an answer...is it true? Money paid into machine means no refund if I don't want the bread. That is the exact word by your cashier.

Was intending to buy a container of love letters, the container drop on the floor due to the plastic handle being poorly moulded. Staff was nasty in remarks and insisted I purchase it.

It happened at AMK Blk 407 Ave 10 on 13 Aug 2020. My mother went to buy some groceries in the morning. She was informed that there was no need to scan the SafeEntry QR code for the "outside" area and only needed when entering the "inside" area.

She went to make her payment at the outside counter and was harshly told that she needed to scan the QR code and was also told to re-queue. For a 60-years old lady, it is not easy to carry all the groceries to take her temperature taken and scan the QR code and carry it back to the queue again.

My mother was misinformed and had to bear the extra burden on her knees.

I wish to inform those in charge to make changes to their arrangement and properly train their staff. While the scanning and temperature taking is important, you should have barricaded the area and do your job of checking every single person entering the place and not hassling them with more trouble.

Went to AMK 407 outlet this youngster raised his voice n shouted at me to scan the safe entry QR, I replied to him you can inform me in a proper manner don't need to shout n raise Yr voice. Even an uncle n old lady customers saw his fierce n arrogant attitude towards me, helped to voice out told him that he shouldn't be so rude towards customer, n that he needs to apologise to me. But this arrogant youngster replied : "If you're not happy you don't buy! (我说你不高兴就不要做!他马上无礼回应说:你不高兴就不要买!)
Being their regular customer supporting them for more than a decade I know the boss is a very humble n nice person, I'm unsure whether this rude youngster is his grandchild or relative, that's why he can behave like a hooligan! Very disappointed with his horrible attitude!

Bought a few unripe avocadoes from Ang Mo Supermarket @Potong Pasir. To my surprise when I cut opened the avocadoes, all are already spoilt. Please see photo.
Please look into the matter carefully as it will not bring a good image of Ang Mo Supermarkets.
