There is a package sent to me from UK on the 30/3/2021. In I'm inform to call the customer officer the next morning because the flight will take 6 to 7 hours to arrive Lagos airport, I call the customer officer the next day and said that my package arrived by 4am and should pay 28,200 for the delivery and 48,000 for custom clearance which he sent me a certain account number that is the delivery manager account, in which I paid 76,200 naira in total through POS,thinking about that I'm ready for the package. The customer officer now tell me that the delivery supposed to be by flight but charges to vehicle and my delivery vehicle is on his way, but he later inform me that I need to pay additional 68,000 naira for insurance cover before my delivery will be made or I most have to come to the airport to pick my package. I now ask him what about the 28,200 that he made me paid for the delivery then? He said if I can't come to the airport then I should just forget about my package. I want you to help me out because I'm from jos and I don't have transportation to Lagos.

I bought a video projector over eBay which I shipped to Nigeria through Planetexpress using FedEx. This item was bought for $229.39.

I was contacted by someone outside FedEx saying she is an agent that her company Red Star Express oversees all FedEx cargo in Nigeria.

She asked me to pay over #35,500 as customs duty and tax. That's very exorbitant for an item not under any sort of restriction!

My problem now is not only just the amount, but being contacted by different person not FedEx and asking me to pay in their account before my package is retrieved from customs.

I thought I should be paying in FedEx office on collection if the item is dutiable. Why am I being made to deal with an agent who even added over #5000 to the so-called customs duty & taxes making it #35500

All effort to reach FedEx officials on phone is abortive.

I don't understand what's happening here. No one from FedEx Nigeria has addressed the issues I raised. No contact either. I have tried contacting the number on the website, non of my 6 calls was answered. My item 786476777191 is still not within reach. Some should say something.

Fedex Nigeria in collaboration with customs wants to take my package.

A business partner from the USA, Name Rick Furgeson sent a package to both me and my friend with different tracking Numbers, My friend got his package and mine was never delivered, they labeled it fraud as it just got to Nigeria, then after a while , Fedex Nigeria handed the package to Customs and my package was snapped for me showing me what they have wrote on it.

Saying scan is normal pickup but fraud package , Give to Csa

After a while, they said i should just pay for the clearance of the phones and I did and after everything, they said my shipper requested phones been sent back to USA.

I was surprised how incompetent this is and how I have spend money on custom clearance.

If it's fraudulent, why wasn't the other package seized or returned as mine or because my package is bigger than my friends package .

My friends tracking Number is : 777588767940

And he got his package delivered and mine was never delivered even when Fedex sent me an email that I should send receipt of the items which I did send so it can speed up clearance.

I know they probably wants to share my package between them because one of your staff already told me that package would never return to sender and this is how they do if they wants to forcefully take something from someone.

My shipper has already called Fedex USA and they told him I just have to pay duties and taxes in Nigeria to get package and they never mentioned any single problem in my package.

If my package was fraudulent, why was one delivered and the other one didn't deliver?

This package consists of 8 iPhone 11 Pro Max and maybe that's the reason you people wants to seize and share my package.

I will make sure I write about what you guys do to the biggest forums in the country and I would make this post go viral if I didn't get my package because this is sad and very incompetent of Fedex.

Release my package, there is nothing like fraud in my package because if there were, one package shouldn't have been delivered.

FedEx are used to removing packages in Nigeria shop2ship sent a picture of an item only for FedEx to bring only the charger after we have paid for the clearance fees and when we asked the despatch rider called EFFIONG he said that it's normal in their office
