I have been trying to cancel my account since July 2019 when my contract ended.

One account did not cancel as the person on the other side did not do so. I have been charged for Vodacom not keeping up to standards with regards to cancellation over the phone. I have paid Vodacom an amount of R6892 for free. I had to pay the money for Vodacom incompetence to cancel my account, Due to Vodacom inefficiency my name has gone bad. I have put through a complaint at a Vodacom store and it has been closed. Ref-SR 1-34728453843117.

I am will never use Vodacom again and disgusted with they way cancellations are handle and how Vodacom takes money for free due to their inefficient work.

Hi there I have taken a contract in December for two Vodafone tab N8's I only received one device however I have both Sim cards,they say the device is discontinued now . It's been over 7 months this is absolutely pathetic service from you . How is this my problem if the tablet is discontinued . When I contact the store they say someone will call me back for the last 7 months . I would love to leak this to the media as I might get a better response then . How can I pay for something I don't have .vodacom supposedly the best network provider commiting fraud and robbing customers who are struggling during covid19!!!!! Please can I get some feedback or resolution from this useless company . Regret having so many contracts .

Thabazimbi an surrounding area is without any signal in load shedding times.

We have aquired a vodacom routers to overcome the issue because MTN had the problem before.

To now avail because Vodacom has the same issue now.

2 weeks since installation, still no router, call center only says we will advise you, sales reps sends an whatsapp saying "just cancel this whole thing because it's just one big headache" according to call center my router got delivered at the wrong address... that was a week ago. No one seems to be able to give me a straight answer. I have voice notes, e-mails and FaceBook communication since end of June

Let me start off my saying I've been a LOYAL customer for the past 10 years.... The service is only getting worse. This has been happening for a while now the internet & signal coverage is pathetic! I've logged a complaint with Vodacom but yet the service hasn't improved. I'm self-employed and I need my phone to be able to make and receive calls at any given time. Because of this my family is suffering... An ambulance couldn't get hold of me as one of my family members needed medical attention.

I have made another call to vodacom as the service hasn't improved at all.
Ref #1-**********1337.
The advisor had to call me back 3 times to complete the query as the call kept dropping.
I cant run a business like this, i cant download anything in the area Schaapkraal/Ottery.
This cant go on like this!!!!!!! NO one gets back to me about anything

You know you saying it's been resolved and I am still getting bad signal, calls are dropping and i cant download updates and it's small files. PLEASE IT'S A MATTER OF URGENCY

Vodacom!!!!!
My calls keep on dropping, i cant browse the internet as it's intermittent, downloads are HORRIBLE I cant download.

I have no or very weak signal and this hinders me making calls or making use o the internet services.

Numerous complaints have been logged with your customer service but no change.
If this continues I'll have to get a new service provider.

I called Vodacom TWO MONTHS to cancel my insurance on my handset but it still is not canceled.

WHY AM I STIL PAYING FOR THIS!!!!!!!

Same here, Good luck get any response from anybody at Vodacom, They bargain on the fact that if they make it as difficult as possible you will just roll over and play dead!!

I have all proof on paper and if need be I will send it through via email.

I recieved a call on the 01/june2020 regarding upgrades , me and my sister have the p20 lite and we both were due for an upgrade at the same time, we spoke to Kevin thebranch manager and we wanted a contract with a watch who h he did not give us that option online and he said the p30 lite was just as good and has a special running ,he then sorted us out with payments and delivery for the new phones. On the 03/June/2020 the phones were delivered I chose one box my sister chose the other (keep in mind they are both the p30 lite in breathing crystal colour)
My sister's works perfectly I however had many problems just trying to start the device and transfer all goods over to the new phone via phone clone , this took over 7 hours to send from one phone to the next.
So I took it to Vodacom greenstone as they are my account holders (keep in mind this was before the 3rd day of receiving it) and have had a contract with them for over 15 years , I was told by Thor their expert that they need to inspect the phone and I can collect in a week's time , they kept the phone for more than a week and when I went back Thor handed me the phone in the box,all was great until I took it home again
The phone restarts whenever it wants to,
Throws me out of apps,
Freezes everything on the device,
Tells me I need a software ,update 5 times in one night each took 20 minutes and it helped not one single bit!

I then proceeded to take it back to Vodacom and spoke to zed the other technician as Thor was off
Thor promised me a new phone if this phone still didn't work!

This technician kept us there from 1pm to 4pm trying to transfer the phones as I factory reset it so no personal information was on the phone I was taking back , in front of our face the phone did not work and he blankly told us he can't help us as it was purchased from Vodacom direct (we were never told to call this number and we stated where it was purchased from) I have this all on writing.
This was 3 weeks down the line of going in to greenstone and back out,they eventually told us to call Vodacom direct to log a complaint we spoke to Bernice the first time on the 28/June/2020 3:34pm and she told us it would be collected within 3-4 working days. A week went by and no collection so we called again and again speaking to thembiso he was very helpful we recieved a reference number and all was in place for collection. This did not happen after a week we were called on Monday the 6/July/2020 to be told that is was out of the 7 day warranty and they will not be collecting it!
We had no idea to contact them before the 14 days as Vodacom had taken the phone in to repair already, AND NEVER MENTION THIS NUMBER ONCE IN THE FIVE TIMES I WENT THERE!
This lady told me she would call me back from that Monday and I have still recieved no information whatsoever !
I have tried to call I have tried to take it in and it seems I cannot be helped.

I am absolutely disgusted in the service I have recieved in the past 1 and a half months in trying to give back a phone that DOES NOT WORK!!

VODACOM this is not my problem you cannot give out faulty phones and not take them back!!!
So get someone to collect this phone because I am going to cancel this contract with Vodacom as I see their service is no longer what is used to be .
I have been patient I have been kind and I think it's about time to take this further if nothing gets done with this complaint today!

I had a contract with vodacom. I was handed over to VVM because of financial difficulty. I was told when my account is paid up I will be able to use my numbers as well as my email again. Now after my account is paid up I am told that my numbers were deleted and I cant get it back as well as my email address.

How can they delete your numbers while you are busy paying your account and you are told that you will be able to use it again.

I always thought vodacom was the best and was always with vodacom but I dont think this is right.

I have been trying to get vodacom to collect the upgrade phone I apparent updraged for online since the 16th of June. I received an iphone se and all my request was for and iphone 11. Please note that my 0825736285 contract ends 15/07/2020. You will not debit my account for the new contract. I will block vodacom at my bank. I want nothing to do with vodacom treating me a loyal +- 14 year client like this! Absolutely disgusted! PLEASE collect the phone!!!

my contract ended on may 2020,and have been trying to cancel since with no effect. my monthly fee has since also doubled without my consent or even informing me.every time i speak to your "so called" cancellations consultants they tell me they can't access the system as my number is on the old M2 system. (frankly that's not my problem). i have been calling almost everyday, and every time i get told the matter is escalated to management, and someone will call me back, well i guess they are still looking for the phone. all i want is to leave vodacom, and am not getting any assistance. what must i do now?

I had a top up contract with Vodacom. I asked to cancel the contract. They then took all the airtime that was available to me. Without any notice and they informed me that this is their process. This is theft as far as I am concerned.

In April I made a payment through the Vodacom app, Vodacom failed to upload my payment for 3 WEEKS! I had to send numerous emails with proof of payments and made around 25 calls to Vodacom to assist and allocate the payment to my account! Now, I am not allowed to upgrade? I have been trying to sort this out for 3 weeks plus with no success! I was not in the wrong my account WAS paid, and its unacceptable that I am now not allowed to upgrade! My account is not in arrears

We moved into a rented place 46 Oberon Road, Sunward Park, on 01 June 2020 and the Previous tenant told us they gave notice on the Fibre Line with Vodacom (Ref SR200527-386696 on 27 May 2020. We were waiting until 30 June 2020 for the Notice to run out. The Previous tenants received notice of Confirmation on 01 July 2020 (Ref SR200701-469227), They assumed the Line is open. We applied to our ISP to link, but the release was not done from Vodacom. When Vodacom was contacted they said it was a Suspension and not a cancellation. We contacted the account holder to contact Vodacom and correct the issue. They logged it and were given a time period of 24 to 48 hours for resolution. It was again logged (Ref SR200708-487807) 08 July 2020 and still no resolution. a month and a half later still no resolve.

We have to work from home and my children need the Internet for Studies and Schooling.

Would appreciate your urgent feedback and resolution, and this will be sent to the Ombudsman and Icasa.

I cancelled my data contract (0763004475) in February. I was advised that I needed to wait until April to call and cancel, as the contract ended in May. I duly called in April and cancelled the contract, effective end May.

I have been billed for June and July which is annoying at least and fraudulent at worst.

Please cancel the contract immediately and reimburse my account for the months of June and July.

I have sent a similar email to retentions***@vodacom.co.za.

Hi,
My account ended in August 2019 and Vodacom then billed me month-to-month. I tried cancelling this month-to-month account and eventually stopped the debit order. Now Vodacom is still billing me. Phoned the cancellation department and they confirm I don't have an account but accounts department still sees the account.
How do I stop Vodacom from charging me for something I dont have?????

I received a call from chat connect which is a call centre for Vodacom regarding my upgrade. They upgraded my phone even though I said that I was under the impression I am only due in September. The consultant and her supervisor reassured me that I qualify now for the upgrade, we confirmed the number & we confirmed the new premium amount. Just for me to find out that its all lies, they say whatever you want to hear to get what they want. I have been calling them so many times, promises to be called back and I am still waiting for that call. These people have increased my premium to over R1000 I am 9 months pregnant and cannot afford this on a serious note I really can't. I do not want this phone nor do I want to continue with my contract with Vodacom. Vodacom has shown me their true colours. The store's tell me straight they can't help me. All calls are recorded but what is the point when in a situation like this they won't even call me back what help are those recorded calls. I know for a fact I repeated everything & made sure I understood. I do not need this stress in my life right now especially with all that is going on with this pandemic. I am disgusted what type of people and company this is. It is beyond disgusting how you fool people in thinking you are offering a good service when all You are doing is taking advantage of people to make sales under false pretences.

I have done my upgrade on the 27 June 2020, but have since not received my new phone. On Sunday 04 July I was advised that I would receive it this week. It's Thursday 09 July 2020 and nothing has happened. I'm sick and tied of the service I'm receiving from Vodacom. Please employ competent staff that can perform there function.

I was waiting in the in line at Vodacom Fourways Mall for more than an hour. There was only one person to assist with Fiber, Sabelo Radebe. He was aware I was waiting in line to see him but kept calling people behind me in line who he was assisting from the day before to help them before me. I feel this is unprofessional and everyone should wait their turn in line and he can't just call people from anywhere in the line as he pleases. When he eventually did give me a turn I asked for his name and left because I will not sit and take out a contract with someone who can not be professional.

I have however been debited for an amount of R213 from Vodacom for the month of May. Please will you kindly clarify what this amount is for and why such payment was made as no further payments are to be made on this account as the contract has already been cancelled.

In February I did pre mature cancellation for my contract that was gonna end in may 16,and around may I called customer care to check if everything is sorted and yes they said.. but now I did credit report since I have a goal that I was supposed to start working on since I settled my debts but you guys has sent my name to legal department for a contract that I settled before it was matured. If I call cancellation department I explain my story and being told I will be transferred to someone who can help me but call ends as soon as they tell me to hold and currently my number has been blocked if I ask Tobi via sms to help..coz I can not reach even a consultant now...I'm so angry please help
