To whom it may concern
This morning I took the New Brighton to Greenacres 5:15 bus. First of all the driver arrived late (5:30) and when I boarded the bus he told me to sanitize my hand. I had already sanitized my hands prior to getting on the bus and my sanitizer was still in my hands when he so rudely instructed me to do it again. He then carried on to mumble on about people not listening.
Before I had a sit I informed him that he was late and therefore making me late for my shift at work (the driver he is replacing arrives 5:15). Instead of apologizing he swore at me and threatened to stop the bus and hit me. This all happened in the presence of other commuters who were as upset about his late arrival.
I usually arrive at work 5:45 when the other driver is on duty but today I arrived at 6:05...this is not the first time he has arrived late and it is unacceptable.
Further more I would like to stress the fact that he threatened to "stop the bus and hit me".... I do not feel safe taking a bus that is driven by people who make violent threats. If the cameras in your busses have audio you can hear the whole exchange as proof.
Please see to it that this matter is attended to or I will be taking it further... No one has the right to make anyone feel unsafe.
