My cellphone went in for repair 18/06/2020 JOB NUMBER 13393929 and a new cellphone was issued.The box was opened in the store for me to view the color. Due to my business being closed since 17th March,I was hesitant to buy a new phone as I was relying on my existing phone to be fixed. The new phone was untouched for that reason. 22/06/2020 I went back to the store as I had no response to the repair of my broken phone. There was no job card as yet. Vodacom told me that I could return the new phone as I am unable to afford the monthly payments.I was told to come back when my phone was fixed. 29/06/2020 - I went back to the store to inquire about my broken phone and return the new phone. All staff within the store were on sick leave due to covid 19 which meant that I could not speak to the original consultant that I had dealt with previously. I dealt with Dianne (she refused to give me her surname saying it's policy not to give surnames)who informed me that I am unable to return the new phone as it had been opened. I told her that the phone was opened in the store and it has not been taken out the box by me. I am unable to afford the monthly installments and wished to return the phone. Her response was that she cannot help me. I called 0821958, who told me that they were unable to help me, the store has to help. I called 182135 and left my number for them to contact me, to no avail, no response either.I told Dianne again that my stop order will bounce as I am unable to afford the monthly installment, would she please take the phone back. Dianne walked away and sat down to help another customer.It was clear that nobody was willing to help me, I left the store. I inquired about my broken phone in repair, nobody could help me.
Will someone please help me. I wish to return the phone which has not been touched. My stop order will bounce as there will not be enough funds in my bank account.
