Not sure if these mattresses are repaired ones, swopped ones or just poor quality?????
On 19 November 2019 my mom took me to OK Furniture Steeldale to buy me a new bed for Christmas against my will. As my old EDBLO 5 - Crown was 10 years old and in perfect condition and no squeaks. Hesitantly I decided to choose a new bed. Saw the Horizon was on promotion for R5999.00 so I specifically asked the sales lady, will this bed take my weight as I weigh 125kgs. And my husband is a little smaller than me. She said yes. So, my mom paid for the gift and it was delivered. In a very short period time, the base was squeaking and I called the OK. The base was swopped. T hen the mattress springs was making terrible clacking noises on both sides’ edges. But even worse, this was during April / May 2020 lock down and I battled to get hold of OK. And the mattress even showed ditches and the squeaking got worse. The mattress was swopped in July 2020. Not even 7 days later the very same thing, squeaking edges and springs all over the bed is clacking. Eventually an assessor of EDBLO called me and said they will swop. Never heard anything till last week 12th October 2020 to say they will delivery within one week. Thursday, 15th October 2020, they delivered the once again new mattress. But really the is the worst of worse. Same night squeaking and cracking mattress. Deep ditches and this mattress is hurting me so bad. It actually feels like I am sleeping on the base. Now is the question, was this a returned mattress that was repaired or what the heck? We Paid R5999.00 on promotion for this bed???? I want this whole bed exchanged and is expecting a firm bed, no squeeks and ditches till it is old and worn the way it should be. If I wanted a Kartle bed, I would’ve keep my antique bed. Maybe just refund me then I can go to Sealy or Dial -A-Bed where I can get much better quality. This is a disgrace.
And then the collection slip says condition fair. However, mattress is clean and no defects except for complaints. OK Slips information as per below:-
