INCORRECT BILLING CHARGE - Consumer Complaint for Meralco - Cainta Branch

Hi, i would like to complain this company for incorrectly billing me a wrong amount based on my consumption. This was started on june when they first started to send bills regarding pandemic. I don’t have any balance with them on that time and i always pay my bill on time. My monthly electric bill is raging from 900php-1300php every month. When they generate my bill on june it came out as 14,000php and they say that it is because of ECQ all of the family members are staying at home, which is not true on my situation. I continuesly working at the office and my father as well. So to make the story short even though it is lock down our daily consumption was not changed on that time, and take note i payed off all of my bills with them prior to that june bill so it means I don’t have a balance before they generate that 14,000php bill.
I tried to reach out to them and requested to read my consumption again because i know that they are charging me incorrectly, they did not made any rereading and jump to the conclution that the bill was generated based on my usage from February to June, so how can they bill me for something that i already payed off before they generate the bill. And in addition to that there is no meter reading that happend on that time and they said that the charges are based on my monthly consumption from february. Now my bill went up to 24000php from 14000php bill of june. So apparently my consumption from july up to now is just 10,000php for 5 months and the initial charge of 14,000php was generated for 1-2 months? They’re not doing it right ! I want a fair bill charges based on our usage and not the charges they generate without reading my meter. Hope you can help me for this. I am now behind of my bills and this is not yet resolved and it’s now adding up to the point that I cannot pay it no more. This company is a scam. Thank you and god bless always.
