Merchant changed order/ Rider picked up wrong order - Consumer Complaint for 7 Eleven - Head Office

Ordered a certain flavor of ice cream (selecta 750ml) from 7-eleven Suburbia

After a few minutes, merchant called to day flavor is unavailable and asked if another flavor is OK (same price, same brand, also750ml)

We decided that No, we did not like the available flavor hence will just cancel the order.

They said that the order has been picked up by the rider already

We messaged the rider on Foodpanda asking why he picked up a wrong order. And said we would like to cancel it. He insisted that he would have to pay for it so we said the merchant should pay for it.

In the end,the rider has become rude and cancelled the order himself.

This is both a mistake from the merchant and the rider.

We did not receive the product nor paid for it but it still was not a good experience.
