Faulty handset - Consumer Complaint for Vodacom - Head Office

I am Cheslyn(Craig) Starling I'd no 7201185121081. In September 2019 i have done an upgrade on the no 0662051800 for a Samsung J4 Core for my wife. 3 months later in December the fone started giving problems. The fone were freezing and did not want to switch on. I took it back to vodacom where they send it for repairs. When I received the fone they're told me that the it was the motherboard that packed up and that they replaced the motherboard.last year end March 2020 the same thing happened. Fone started freezing again and didn't want to switch on.That time we were already under lockdown which meant that my wife was without a fone for months until the repair store reopened and I could take the fone in for repairs.finaly I got the fone back. The fone wasn't 100% and was still freezing from time to time. Due to the fact that my wife needed the fone and couldn't afford to be without a fone for the 3rd time as I recieved my child's schoolwork via wats app and that I didnt had another fone to use I held on to the fone. In January this year the fone packed up completely. I again took the fone in to Vodacom store in Soneike Kuilsriver where they send my fone once again away for repairs by this time it was clear that I've been sold a faulty handset but vodacom refused to replace the fone. After 2 weeks I was told it will cost me R700 to fix the fone as the fone is out of warranty. I went in to vodacom Soneike to find out what nonsense this is as I'm still paying on the fone and the contract has not expired yet and this is when I was told that the last time the fone went in for repairs they have replaced the battery and the batter's warranty is only 1month. How on earth can I stoll pay for a handset that is not working, a handset that was faulty from the word go. You people refuse the replaced the fone they want me to claim from my insurance yo get a new fone and on top of this I still have to pay access. This us highly unacceptable I have been a client since 1997 I am highly disgusted by your service. How is it possible that the fone keep on giving the same problem? I am paying for something that is if no used to me. Now my wife is again without a fone its been more then a month already that she dnt have the use of the fone and I am still paying every month. Dnt you agree if the handset is giving the same problem for the 3rd time that it's as clear as day light that it's been a problematic fone? I really hope that you will see to this matter as I am fed up and this is unacceptable. If this dnt get sorted asap I will have no other choice but to take this matter further. I will go to Hello Peter and will make sure that its known what bad service you people render. This is such an inconvenience for me as my wife is without a fone and that is the only way my daughter can receive her school work. Hope to hear from you soonest.
