Not Receiving the Minutes I signed up for - Consumer Complaint for Vodacom - Head Office

SENDER
Fahmida Valla
On 30 January 2021 I went to the Norwood Vodashop to transfer my cell phone from my husbands contract to my name. There was still 5 months left on the contract and I accepted this. At the same time I asked them to increase the minutes to 400 minutes. They provided me with a quotation which I was fine with. However, I received an invoice for R787.52 including other charges which were not explained to me. I queried this with Vodacom and I was told to take it up with the Vodashop which I did. The manager, who helped me with the transfer stated I would receive the 400 minutes on 1 March 2021. To date I have not received this after sending emails every day to him. he has now written to me that I said I would come in at a later stage for the 400 minutes. Utter nonsense!! I wanted it immediately. At first he denied helping me when I went to the shop and blamed it on his assistant. I am frustrated and extremely unsatisfied with the service I am receiving. I have requested him to cancel the transfer and give me a refund. And I refuse to pay charges for the cancellation. He can take it back to my husband's contract.
