Unsatisfactory meal - Consumer Complaint for Ocean Basket - Head Office

We are avid patrons of OB having eaten at many outlets in different provinces n alway love the food as the standard is of high quality and the same at all branches.ie until today's meal at OB cresta. I have never experienced such slow service.. from getting the complimentary bread rolls ages after we were seated to the cold sub standard meal. I asked for a fruit juice.and was told they didn't have any. We ordered a platter for one and specifically asked for headless prawns.when the platter arrived the prawns had heads one. the platter was not even set on the table but still in the waiters hand when we spotted this and asked it be returned to the kitchen n sorted. When it eventually arrived the platter itself was cold. The food on the platter was even colder.again we returned it and all that was done was that it was reheated.which took another 15 mins.When the food did arrive it was warmish n the calamari was rubbery.by this time we were starving n simply ate a very pathetic meal. I have since looked at reviews on this branch thinking perhaps it was just our bad luck and was appalled to read That for a some time now other patrons are complaining about the same .....bad service n pathetic meals. How is this branch allowed to continue Operating with no repercussions? Surely this gaves OB overall a bad name? Why is nothing done from head office to remedy this ?

What an absolute mockery this process of logging a complaint is. I logged my complaint on the 16th today is the 21st. No repose or. Even a courtesy call recd from either OB head office complaints dept nor from the manager of OB Cresta.in these difficult times when patrons r still supporting u ,take the time to get back to them n convert their bad experiences to good ones.dont cry then when u have to shut yr doors n lay off people become no one wants to come spend their hard earned cash at yr restaurants become yr service is so sub standard.

Why an i not surprised-12 days since i lodged the complain, 8 days since i send another follow up so 2 complaints and not a single courtesy call. Ocean basket im sorry to say but u've lost me as a customer- not just to the crappy Cresta restaurant but to all OB in general and i think all unhappy customers should do the same- lets go spend our hard earned money at restaurants who care about the customers, the quality of the food and their services- there are many establishments like these who deserve patronage. OB is not one of those
