Cockroach, Bad cold food, Very bad customer service, Health-threatening Incident, Unethical Behavior - Consumer Complaint for Shakeys

Ok- So we went to this Shakeys branch for a late lunch and note: we are really hungry since we only had coffee that morning, and then here's this QR code at the entrance for contract tracing that the staff initially made us aware thereto and since we don't have QR scanner on our phone, we decided to download it first and took us a long while since we have a poor internet connection inside that mall, the staff assigned there was clearly aware and is just waiting for us to do it without offering any other option so I decided to ask if there's any and that's the only time she said we can write in on the paper instead. She gave us both a pencil and paper then guided us to a table with the dining lamp abovehead not working. As I was writing, my husband said we should move to another table, and so we did. But this same staff, told us that the table is only for the staff of the house. Yes, there were two employees huddling on the next table then came another and another during the entire duration we were there. So Ok- we just obediently moved to the next table and continued filling-out that paper. The staff on the next table from where we moved were soo noisy chitchattting and laughing about their personal matters. We really can hear clearly coz besides the fact that they were not wearing their facemasks, is that they are really talking out loud not minding us on the table nearby. maybe because they thought it's not that noisy given a table apart. So we're done with the paper and decided to make our order but I decided to sanitize my hands after the public pencil provided but the alcohol dispenser wasn't working at all. The staff came back with the menu and just simply placed the menu on the table with a very unproffesional manner. The tissue is a bit crumpled already and the utensils and the paper mat were just disorderly placed on the table. We even had to place it ourselves in a decent manner given its a restaurant not a fast food chain. Our super bunch of lunch for two had arrived after 10mins. ( There is a Shakeys timeframe where food should be served within 3minutes) We were extremely hungry, we just gave a quick prayer and got excited to dig in. When my husband opened the utensils, there was a dead cockroach on it. We were totally shocked and speechless. I decided to take a photo then called the server. She said a quick sorry then immediately took it and returned with a new set for my husband, then said sorry again. I told her to raise the issue to the manager right away. We were still shocked and speechless we were just looking at each other. We lost our appetite instantly but the fact that we're really hungry my husband suggested we eat. The salad served is not the usual amount and there were only 2 pieces of mojos, the garlic bread is not freshly done, the pasta is cold, the soup is unbelievably cold and not cooked properly. The starch is not dissolved nor cooked well and is still forming into balls- very salty! The chicken too!! We didn't finished it and decided to bill out. Soooo- after all the terrible experience we had, they only offered a 10% discount on the bill with the supercard and take out mojos as their courtesy. The manager still didn't approach us so I decided to talk to the staff instead and complained about everything- us having to wait for a while outside, not offering options for the contact tracing thing, the table with the broken lamp she offered, the table that we would have wanted to sit, the very unproffesional noisy annoying staff, the entire bad cold food, the alcohol dispenser not working, no condiments, the amazing dead cockroach, the possible threat to our health, the manager not even facing us afterall. This is the most extremely disappointing and distressing experience we've ever had. Health and sanitary measures should be strictly observed as well as professionalism with the service and the cooking of food. She said sorry again and that problems with the cockroach is hard to avoid since the mall is infested with pests so I told her that it's basic that they should observe cleanliness and proper storage especially with the food and utensils. She just then said that they were really sorry about what happened, and just highlighted that as courtesy we have been given 10% discount with supercard and take out mojos. We were extremely disappointed and just went on our way. This is seriously one hell of an experience and with this YEAAAAH, IT'S GOTTA BE SHAKEYS!!!!!!
