1) Renewal of contract of which i did not ask for it and the insurance i have never applied for - Consumer Complaint for Vodacom - Head Office

In June i was checking when i can cancel my contract and the consultant indicated that i can only cancel one in August 20 cause the other line was renewed of which i did not renew the line as i am not using it. She told me that she had logged a call for me, no one came back as usual.

In September i called to cancel again, i managed to cancel one line and still the other line was renewed. I have asked her again why cause I have never spoke to anyone last to renew this contract, she said she will log a call again.

Last month, I received a statement now they put insurance of R326.00 whereas for the contract is R153.13. I wrote to customer service to explain my challenges, I kept on getting one and the same statement. I am not sure if they read what is in the email or not. I call again the following day, the consultant told me she will log a call to insurance centre to cancel the insurance as I have never applied for and i have my own insurance, even worse I am no longer using the line.

Today, i received a warning letter stating i am owing R852.69, I am not going to pay things I have never asked for. Vodacom needs to cancel that insurance and send me the right statement.

This is very irritating, I have been using vodacom for ages now. When I started working where I am, a lady who is responsible for our contract when she apply for my contract they put her ID number and spell my name wrong, I have been trying to sort this issue I have no idea how many times still it is not sorted.
