Liable to pay cancellation fee even though contract was extended without my knowledge - Consumer Complaint for PLANET FITNESS - HEAD OFFICE

My Planet Fitness contract was supposed to come to an end August 2020. I tried cancelling in October but was told that I would need to pay a cancellation fee as I am still in contract. This is unlawful and I was charged in September too which should not have been the case
