My first time to use their service and I am very disappointed. The moment I saw the order that it’s already on the way I requested my Dad to wait for the call. I even asked my Mom using the landline to call Shakey’s to confirm if the claim is valid but they weren’t able to get hold of them. Magsaysay branch of Shakey’s is very close to our place and in my note I indicated the actual address as their default address is wrong. I also wrote in instructions that the driver should call first before the delivery. He claimed he called twice but my Dad never recived any call nor text message from the driver. It is the same number I used to register in FOOD PANDA and for their verification. My Dad received a verification text message from that cellphone number that’s why I was able to register and placed my order. So how come the driver claimed he couldn’t get in touch with that number? My 74y/o and 73 y/o parents are waiting for that delivery for their dinner. It is supposed to be my birthday gift for my Dad as he celebrated his 74th birthday yesterday. They are senior citizens, in a lockdown due to Covid19, and just by themselves and were deprived dinner by their irresponsible rider. How sure are they that the rider made a phone call given that my Dad didn’t receive any call from the rider? And what happened to the food that I ordered? I am out of the country that’s why I resorted to get their service to at least make my Dad happy on his birthday. I don’t care about the money that I paid for it is just a small amount but I am greatly hurt for what they did to my parents. Two phone calls were not enough and he could have texted before he left Shakey’s or somehow exhausted all the means before he gave up since he is delivering a perishable item. So who’s going to eat the food? The driver? If this is the case, I suspected that this was done intentionally and with malice.

I just hope and pray that the rest of their customer will never experience this kind of dilema for not all have money to place another order. Very poor service!
