Applied for an upgrade.
Asked for the LGK42 x 2 phones deal.
The deal was approved.
1 December 2020
Had not received confirmation SMS of the deal.
Called Vodacom to query this
12h57 - I called 082 178 44- waited 8 minutes - call dropped
13h08 - I called 082 178 44 - waited over 20 minutes - call dropped
13h28 - I called 082 1959 - was told that the agent who processed the order, then cancelled it on Saturday as well. They would put me through to upgrade centre. Waited, the call was dropped.
13h39 - called 082 1958 - waited over 7 minutes - call dropped
13h49 - after logging a query with chat online, a consultant called from 082 275 9700, said the same thing. Was told the upgrade consultant concerned would call me today. I am still waiting for that call.
Bottom line
The deal I signed up for, is no longer available.
At this stage, I am done with Vodacom.
This was the last straw after many years of bad service.
Ultimately Vodacom headIt has been more than 20 years, and I am now migrating all of my contracts to another provider. As my Vodacom contracts come up for renewal, I am cancelling them.
Your service is appalling!
Ultimately, Vodacom Head Office staff, you need to take responsibility. You should focus on training your staff, and listening to your customers.
