On the 03rd of March 2020 I took a contract from the vodacom 4u store in Southgate mall. The deal I got was VI 9FE4873, this deal came with a Samsung A30s of which was handed to me immediately and the contract concluded on the same day. two weeks after receiving the phone, the phone was not working, the screen was not responding to any touch function. We took the phone back to the store, the phone was taken for repairs by the store owner, it took almost 2 months for the phone to return. Of which we also had to constantly follow up with the store manager on the progress of the phone. When the phone was finally repaired, we got assurance from the manager that the phone was now in good condition and the problem was software of which it had been fixed. All this occurred in May 2020. Less than a month later the phone the phone went blank. We couldn't do anything with the phone, the screen was once again blank. we then took the phone back to the store of which we were informed that we would need to make a payment of R250 for the phone to be repaired and that process could take up to 4 weeks. Unfortunately we cannot accept this as the phone did not last even a month after the initial repairs. I belive we were handed a defaulted phone and we cannot accept this phone. I left the phone at the store and 3 weeks later we have not received any correspondence from the store regarding a way forward on the matter. I am truly distraught at the nature of customer service we receive from this store. The manager was rude and refused to understand that we are not able to pay the R250 because we did not cause any damage to the phone. The most annoying part of this ordeal is that every month money is being deducted from our account for a contract that we are not even using. May we please receive a solution to this matter.
