I were due an upgrade on my phone. Visited Vodacom Shop Cresta 12/05/2021 12h08. Sales consultant ENSLIN.
I asked about the best deal on upgrade. The price on the contract doesn't agree with the advert for the product as advertised on the webpage. I only noticed that on arrival at home. Furthermore there is no charger for the phone. Upon phoning 011 678 0778 Enslin admitted that he should have told me the charger is an extra cost and not part of the package. I also noticed that the simcard of the new phone was not in the box.
I spoke to the manager at 16h10 this afternoon, the 12/05 and told him I want to cancel the contract and want a refund. He told me no way can I cancel the contract.
As a consumer it is my right to cancel the above mentioned as the terms and conditions as stated above were not probable explained to me, I was only asked to sign and the consultant told me the contract will be emailed to me. I am not able to open my email as I am not able to charge the new phone.
Please advise why I cant cancel the contract.
