Charging an amount different to what is stated on our contract - Consumer Complaint for PLANET FITNESS - HEAD OFFICE

I am totally disappointed with planet fitness. We took out a membership for my sister and our contract stated we would pay R199 per month. Two months later when my sister tried to go to the gym they wouldn't let her in and told her that our membership is not paid up, keep in mind that I have a debit order going off for the membership. I checked my bank statement and saw that all the debit orders have gone off. When I enquired at the planet fitness branch they told me that I will need to pay more because the amount that I was paying, the amount on the contract was a promotion so I now need to pay more. Why was this not told to me when I took out the membership and why does it not state that on the contract? We have been going back and forth with head office and they told me to sort it out with the branch. I went to the branch and all they can say is that the consultant made a mistake and I need to pay the difference if my sister wants to continue coming to the gym. Now who's problem is it that the consultant doesn't know how to do their job properly? I was told at the branch that I'll just be paying an extra R80 every month and why am I making a big deal over such a small amount of money? Truth is, it's not about the money but it's really unprofessional to handle matters in this way. I should've been informed of the promotion in the first case. Really bad service. I wouldn't recommend planet fitness to anyone. I am currently trying to cancel my membership but no one is answering my emails. Please train your employees properly or atleast handle things in a professional manner
