I am a senior citizen over 60 years old, and have been a loyal Vodacom customer for 26 years and have paid my account on time every month for 26 years.
Approx 2 years ago, Iarranged phone and data for all my staff with Vodacom for use for work purposes only.
Then Corona struck! We have NOT been using the devices for more than 9 months (I.e. the devices are switched off and locked up in a cupboard) but Vodacom continues to charge airtime and data charges onto each of these accounts for more than 9 months now. The worst part is that they advertise for Corona reprieve - but this is just a scam from them, they DO NOT OFFER CORONA REPRIEVE.
I have called Vodacom more than 500 times in the last 9 months to request that they stop charging me for data and airtime that we are not using and to either credit my account with these charges or reverse these charges.
I have been passed from one call centre agent to the next and next and next for 9 months now!!!!
I have sent no less than a thousand emails to this Supervisor and that Supervisor. With NO response, no reply and Vodacom have even switched their call system off when it recognizes my cell number calling in Their automated message states that they note I have call a few times each day and a Call Centre agent will call me back.. Ha Ha - they failed to say they will call me back when I am 90 years old and they have bankrupted me.
SERIOUS WARNING PEOPLE - VODACOM SUCKS! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AND JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY OR CUT YOU OFF!
