On the 19 March 2021 my mother went to Pep store Phuthaditjhaba 8081 to send a parcel using Pexi service. She was assisted by a cashier named Vuyisiwe, my mother told her, she wants to send a parcel to Pep store in Centurion Mall she told she needs that pep store number in order to send the parcel my mother called me to let me know as we were on the call the cashier (Vuyisiwe) said "oh I found it, it's pep home" I said yes there's also pep home.
As I get the message I realized she sent to Pep store in Forest Hill I called back to let her know that I don't even know where that Pep is. She canceled the parcel and told my mother to come back when she has that number not explaining to her that up on cancelation she'll have to pay again.
After finding the number my mother went that's only when she started to explain that she has to pay again. I called to ask why she have to pay again & why she didn't explain everything she was there shouting at my mother as she hung up on me. I called back asked to talk to the manager I spoke to Mme Sekoere who simply told me "I don't know what to say but you can call the Area Manager we'll see if he'll penalize us or not".
I called the Area Manager Mr Ezekiel I explained to him what had happened. I asked him if it was fair for my mother to pay twice for the same parcel because of the mistake that wasn't even hers in the first place? And is it professional for your store manager to answer me in the manner that she did? He said to me "I'll investigate the matter I'll get back to you",few minutes later he called and said your parcel is on the way of which I know cos my mother paid twice for it and I got the message. I told that is not the reason why I called him he told me "I'll investigate the matter and get back to you until today I'm still waiting for Mr Ezekiel to get back me. I'm truly disappointed the treatment we got from your staff more especially your management.
