I was called a thief for not paying the medication after the cashier made a error when she rang the medication At the Grove clicks. I visited your store to collect my medication and I bought other things last week Friday, on Saturday I was called and told that I didn’t pay for meds, I should come pay, the attitude and tone of voice was shocking, no investigation was done as to what had gone, but I was summoned to come and pay. When I got to the store, still no investigation was done as to what could have gone wrong, I was told I must pay the difference between what I was charged and actually amount, I mean as a consumer I had the right to say no because I paid what I was charged, apparently the cashier scanned the bar code without selecting pharmacy. But still I was not at fault and I really felt insulted being called on Saturday and told that I didn’t pay for my meds, I was made to feel like I stole the meds because according to the pharmacist I paid for other items but not the meds, how can I walk out of the store with the meds in a cage?
And was it necessary for her to tell me that there is no cameras in the store? I know clicks can do better with calibre of staff they employ at the front line, because insulting a client without doing any investigation is definitely not customer service or professional
