IPhone 8 taken by Vodacom technician to unblock password but never returned for entire 2 year contra - Consumer Complaint for Vodacom - Head Office

Bought and iPhone 8 in 2018 for my daughters birthday and she blocked her password after only using phone for 2 weeks. I went to Vodacom store and handed my iPhone8 to Vodacom Technician who promised to unblock phone with Apple company for me. He was a black male and I trusted him as he had Vodacom clothing on and promised to contact Me when phone was ready. After 2 months I was hospitalised and put off work for 6 months. During this time I did not receive any calls from Vodacom technician with regards to iPhone 8.

I then stopped paying for iPhone 8 as I was not in.possession or using the phone so did not think it's fair that I should pay for a phone I don't have. Vodacom then handed me over to Nimble Debt Collectors for an amount of R22 762 as bad debt but fir services/contract I did not benefit from. I settled R22762 with Nimble Debt Collectors and called Vodacom to ask for my iPhone8 back but the technician who took it from me in 2018, said it is no longer in store (no trace of its whereabouts). I then knew that this technician had stolen my iphone. I opened a case against Vodacom and technician, namely,Pmburg Cas 185/05/2021.

Vodacom refuses to reimburse me with the money I paid to settle for a iPhone I never used since 2018.

I am very disappointed and disatisfied at how I have been unfairly treated and robbed by Vodacom, a Big network company who I have been with since my first cellphone in 2002.
