On Saturday 29May2021 I visited Cash Crusaders Worcester and spoke to an assistant named Divando whom I contacted via Facebook about a machine (Numatic 1840, price R4000) that was being advertised. He advised me that the machine is available but he 1st wants to confirm with another client (a friend of his - an internal staff member) to hear if he is still going to take the machine. I told him that it was unprofessional of him to do that. (I AM HERE NOW... I'M ENQUIRING NOW. IT'S NOT A BUSINESS WHERE YOU FAVOR YOUR FRIEND!) His friend then advised that if I have the money then it's ok to buy it. I then told him that I will contact on Monday 31May2021 as I'm getting the funds together.
ON Monday I phoned early morning to make arrangements for the payment. I asked for the banking details and advised that the payment will be made by 3pm. He agreed to take the machine aside for me pending payment at 3pm.
(NOTE... I had worked the entire Sunday to secure those funds, and arranged for immediate payment from my client.)
Divando then told me again that he 1st wants to find out from his friend whether he is taking it. I asked him NOT to do that, as we had just made an arrangement to pay for the machine pending he sends me the banking details. He agreed.
Later he contacted me and said that his friend had made payment for the machine.
In a phonecall with him later he confirmed that he contacted his friend (employee at CC) after we spoke and that his friend then made arrangements to pay.

The honorable thing was to conclude the deal with me, then if his friend enquired, to let him know that the machine is no longer available. THIS IS HOW YOU CONCLUDE PROPER WORK ETHICS.

I spoke to his manager and he said he will contact me later in the day. Instead another employee contacted me explaining their side of the story.
SHE ALSO ADMITTED that they concluded business with the internal employee AFTER I had already made arrangements with them for the machine.

The manager is yet to phone me back.

Cash Converters, please deal with this matter!
Refund your internal employee and honor your commitment before the machine is couriered away to Johannesburg please.

I have a cleaning business and this machine was gona be something to enhance my business.

Im asking to please honory deal, and not allow your employees to go behind your clients backs to benifit their friends who work there.

I am disgusted!
