On Saturday 29May2021 I visited Cash Crusaders Worcester and spoke to an assistant named Divando whom I contacted via Facebook about a machine (Numatic 1840, price R4000) that was being advertised. He advised me that the machine is available but he 1st wants to confirm with another client (a friend of his - an internal staff member) to hear if he is still going to take the machine. I told him that it was unprofessional of him to do that. (I AM HERE NOW... I'M ENQUIRING NOW. IT'S NOT A BUSINESS WHERE YOU FAVOR YOUR FRIEND!) His friend then advised that if I have the money then it's ok to buy it. I then told him that I will contact on Monday 31May2021 as I'm getting the funds together.
ON Monday I phoned early morning to make arrangements for the payment. I asked for the banking details and advised that the payment will be made by 3pm. He agreed to take the machine aside for me pending payment at 3pm.
(NOTE... I had worked the entire Sunday to secure those funds, and arranged for immediate payment from my client.)
Divando then told me again that he 1st wants to find out from his friend whether he is taking it. I asked him NOT to do that, as we had just made an arrangement to pay for the machine pending he sends me the banking details. He agreed.
Later he contacted me and said that his friend had made payment for the machine.
In a phonecall with him later he confirmed that he contacted his friend (employee at CC) after we spoke and that his friend then made arrangements to pay.
The honorable thing was to conclude the deal with me, then if his friend enquired, to let him know that the machine is no longer available. THIS IS HOW YOU CONCLUDE PROPER WORK ETHICS.
I spoke to his manager and he said he will contact me later in the day. Instead another employee contacted me explaining their side of the story.
SHE ALSO ADMITTED that they concluded business with the internal employee AFTER I had already made arrangements with them for the machine.
The manager is yet to phone me back.
Cash Converters, please deal with this matter!
Refund your internal employee and honor your commitment before the machine is couriered away to Johannesburg please.
I have a cleaning business and this machine was gona be something to enhance my business.
Im asking to please honory deal, and not allow your employees to go behind your clients backs to benifit their friends who work there.
I am disgusted!

I have a complaint against the gentleman in the cash converters kasselsvlei buy shop.Today I collected an item he took almost an half an hour to bring me the item,when I asked him to please hurry as I'm still going to work then he she shout WAIT!!showing a stop handsignal,when he eventually returned and I asked him why he took so long then he said I shouldn't work on his nurves,then I told him I'm going to take a pic of him and report it to which he replied I will also take a pic of you then he took his phone out and did the same!it's the guy in the attached pic.This is the worst Customer service ever if he do not apologize to me then I will take this further.

Hi, It is unbelievable that your Blue Hills Store in Midrand can be so incompeten. I pawned my gold chain and then requested an extension because I was away for the Easter weekend. When I get to the store to collect my gold chain, I was told it was not there and they cant locate it!!! That is absolutely ridiculous! It goes against your entire business model and trust me I will not take this likely! That was my wifes wedding chain which has so much of sentimental value as well as a religious vow. I cannot believe that this is the way a national company which specializes in loan against your Valuables, have such little care for their clients personal belongings. I will make sure that this lack of care to my chain be highlighted and reported to every authority so that people are aware that they might not get their stuff back from you guys! It's a absolute disgrace!!!

Hi there,
I need to speak to someone regarding Cash Converters misconduct and fraud with all my items that I had left in their possession for a loan.
I have tried contacting the store on many occasions without success. I had contacted their head office complaints in writing with all the details and I as told they were not going to lodge a complaint in their system and refuse to speak to me on this matter.
My husband and I took in several items approximately 15 items approximately retail value of $50K Plus on loan.
We were only offered $3K-$5K cash, for the items we handed to Cash Converters.
My complaint is as follows:
1) Payments made against the loans were not allocated or on the system.
2) We contacted the store on several occasions notifying the store regarding hardship, and medical emergency when my husband was in hospital.
3) The customer service team notified us, our items have been sold due to late payment.
4) We received no notification of any kind regarding our items been sold or ready to be sold.
5) We called the store on many occasions requesting information regarding our items without success.
6) We were advised that, Cash Converters are not responsible and have no obligation to contact any customers prior to selling their goods.
7) We were advised ALL OUR ITEMS HAD BEEN SOLD” there s nothing we can do about it.
After many weeks of research, I have found almost all our items on your online store, each items have been priced at 5 to 10 times more than the loan amount offered to is for Cash.
But the fact that we were told all our items have been sold and we were not given the opportunity to pay back the loan amount to get our items back.
I want my items back, replaced or remembered for the value of the goods.
I look forward to your call.

COMPLAINT #13437 - Billing or Collection Issues
to whom it may concern i robert wanted to pawn my two watches in by cash converters somerset west branch yesterday 1 dec 2020 . a fossil blue and a taguar grand ferra i called the branch before hand send in a pic of the fossil blue watch . the sales staff agreed to a R500 buy back on the whatts app sales line . i drove to the store upon arrivall the sales staff then declined to take my watch in for security of the loan agreement. and declined a pawn sale for my other watch i had with me a taguar grand ferra watch . only for the sales man to offer me 300 for the tag of the books for the sales staff could see i was desperate. for i wanted to pawm the goods so i could retreev the items at a later stage . so i was put on the spot and forced to sell the tag watch to the salesman for his personnal gain , 20 minutes later to find out the sales man walked to the shop close buy the branch in question only to sell the tag watch to other pawn shop for R1200 , so the sales man made him self 900 in a matter of seconds . i called fawas the manger of the store . he was aware i was unable to afford the watch back i asked for a further 300 for the watch but fawas refused and appently the watch can be collected for the 300 , which i am unable to afford . had the store pawned the watch like agreed over the phone for 500 i needed to extent a current buyback on my tools , the sales man did something illegal not taking security of the goods and purchasing the goods for his own personnal gain. for a low low price , for i called the store before hand cause i needed the cash i would of recived from cash converters an amount of 500 and refused to buy in once arrived for being despert the sales man used that to his advantage to hustle me in the a forced sale the the goods inside the buy shop but not on the shops books . i want my goods back please and i dont feel like i should pay the 300 the sales man took out of his own pocket to pay for the goods . i came to cash converters for a service of a pawn agreement but was hustled to the sale og the goods for a low low price only for the sales man to sell it on minutes later to the pawn shop across the road for 1200 four times what he offerd me i think this is a disgrace for cash converters staff to take advantage of custermers and bacically steel from me . can you assist me in getting my good sback or some more money for the goods to make the deal fair . i can only imagine how often the happens to other people , for saleman lineing there own pockets for personal gain . they are supposed to be making money for the branch to earn there salary not steel for people i think this a madjor problem and even thinking of putting in a complaint to the newspapers , but will wait for assist ince from the complaints department first. thank you robert john boreham 0797272033 somerset west branch cape town manger fawas

Comment They like to do that or gave u much less than what it cost so that they can buy it and they know who exspsive your item is than they tel u they are overstock and they got they client who come bad stuff and get very good money mangers is part of the skill

Good morning i roy moore am makeing a serious complaint due to bullying by floor manager at cash converters bloemfontein in curie street at 11am this moring after trying to buy a hp laptop for R2600 as i was waiting for the password to be keyed in the laptop this manager ettion made fun of the way i was talking when another staff member helped me as this was the second time today and previously ettion insulted me about my age and the fact that he was younger than me last month he even went as far as to ask me what i was doing at cash converters and why i was not selling motorbikes today in a rude and disrespectful manner i asked ettion why he was beaing rude and disrespectful and towards me and he smiled and kept telling me me i am wrong he then threatened to get people to assault me and remove me from his store in a violent manner i then told ettion that i was gonna report this and he smiled again and said that he doesnt care and that i can do just what i like i am truly hurt by this mans behavior towards me as i just wanted to by a laptop but the fact that i have been buying from that store for more than 4 years makes this unacceptable no person or buyer should be treated in this manner i was ettion to be disciplined and i am considering making a case of criminal enjoria please take action regards from roy moore
