Unauthorized debits - Consumer Complaint for Vodacom - Head Office

Since the beginning of lockdown I've been mistreated by vodacom. Despite numerous requests to halt my debit order due to loss of income. You continued to debit my account leading to bank charges for unpaid debit orders. Not only did you cause major inconvenience but you also tarnished my good standing name. You also failed to assist me with Covid-19 relief. Instead you punished me during a very difficult time not just for myself but for the entire country at large. Recently, I've been experiencing overcharging by vodacom. Last month my bank account was double debited and when I called to complain. I was told it was because I shifted my debit order date. Which I found to be absolutely ridiculous! I've changed my debit order dates before with my other creditors but they never penalized me for it. To add salt to injury I was charged a penalty fee for reversing the debit order. I'm beyond fed up with this treatment I demand a reversal you have charged me since the start of the National Lockdown. I will also be taking this matter to ICASA.

Vodacom doesn't care. They ignore you until you let it go.
