POOR SERVICE` - Consumer Complaint for Mr Delivery

On Friday 26 January 2018 we ordered (#DFD2645809) from Pizza Hut New Market through Mr D. After an hour I phoned Mr D where a rude man picked up the phone pretending not to hear me. I finally got through to a woman who then assisted. She said that the restaurant is delayed because it is month end, so I waited another 20 min and phoned again. She said she is going to phone and find out whats the problem and phone me back. In the meanwhile I phoned pizza hut where the manager said my order was collected just after 19:00 and they are not delayed with orders. This was half past 8 pm already. So then the lady from MrD phones me back and tell me the restaurant never received my order and that the driver is standing there waiting. No by this time I was furious, It was close to 21:00 and we have no order. So she said they will refund. That is not the point, the point is that we were hungry, waiting for the delivery. My child went to bed hungry coz she fell asleep waiting for the pizza to arrive. Its sickening what they will do for money but brush it away if someone complains.
