Cancellation of Airtime Subscription fails after calling Vodacom - Consumer Complaint for Vodacom - Head Office

I had two contracts with Vodacom from the below numbers:

0662910299 - Should be closed
0823874380 - This one is current

My details are as follows:

My query is on contract 0662910299:

On this above contract I had settled the account by December 2020 and it should have lapsed the 1st of October last year, because I was not aware of the 30 day notification to discontinue any non agreed airtime subscriptions when you tried to debit on my account the 1st of October the funds were insufficient on my account and the debit order returned.

With the tighter budget due to Covid constraints, I had only left money on the account to cover the 0823874380 account.

I also lost my 0662910299 in the course of October and had not been able to use the airtime you're debiting from then. Since you kept on debiting funds I had not budgeted for it kept my account on high arrears and ridiculous arrears charges, I managed to settle all the arrears and other accumulated charges by December 2020 where I had also asked one of your consultants to cancel the airtime contract you kept debiting since they couldn't assist me due to arrears after settling the arrears later that month in December.

They told me that it would not be possible to terminate to lapsed contract or stop billing on the 0662910299 account as had to have done it 30 days prior but assured it will not be billed for Feb. When I checked my statement it was billed, I called again they said it's not cancelled but the one positive thing I benefited from the call was the consultant notified me that I have not lost my airtime I can still do a sim swap and it will be recovered whereas previous consultants didn't even notify me about my banked airtime which had not yet expired.

I had some faith after that call and she said after 72hours it will be cancel and I should receive an SMS, I never received any SMS I called again after a week they said it's not yet cancelled they will escalate the matter and that I should receive an SMS within three days. Even now it's not yet cancelled and I cannot afford the airtime it's straining my budget and I'm not even using it as haven't had time to go and buy a contract sim on the Voda shops.

Last week I called customer care to atleast separate the accounts, the consultant was extremely rude and kept telling me to cancel the contract without even listening to what I had to say because before I even reached her I had also called to cancellation line on 0821958 using my 0823874380 sim.
