I joined the gym in Fourways around March 2020 before the lockdown. I wanted to join under discovery Vitality so because i did not have the once off money that you pay to get the Vitality package the consultant said i should join under the R599 membership and i must come before the 28th of March to come pay the once off money then they will change my contract to Vitality. I went to the gym on the 20th and the 24th and i was told that the Admin department is already on Lockdown therefore there is nothing the can do and it wont affect me. After the lockdown when Gyms were reopening i saw that you debited me r599 i went back to the Gym to fix this and i was speaking to the guy called Siboniso and i explained my story and he promised to get back to me and he never did. On the 7/Dec/2020 i wrote an email to customer service explaining my story and on the 12th a lady called me and said that they saw my email and she will speak to her manager to override previous premiums and she or her manager will call me and tell me when must i go to the gym to rejoin under discovery...I never received a call. January the 5th i wrote another email wanting to cancel as what i was promised never happened they i got a repose saying they going to debit me R3015 and this shows the person did not even take time to read my email.
My aim was not to cancel but rather fix my contract so that i can pay what i can afford. I still say please STOP debiting my account if your are not ready to fix this mess
