Poor Service - Consumer Complaint for Bradlows - Head Office

I have reported a 65"Jvc plasma tv that it has a problem of showing pictures and sound firstweek of June 2020 and even today i have not received any references number or any feedback from bradlow.I bought the product last May and it has 2 years warranty/ guarantee.I am very disappointed with their poor Service as i have been a loyal costomer to them.If this product is not being fixed nextweek i will report this issue to the ombudsman.

Dear sir/ Madam

I’m writing this letter to notify you about the extreme bad service I received from your transporter on the 06/06/2020, I visited one of your store at Festival mall on the 30/05/2020 and I purchased double bed, which caused me + - ZAR8000,00, my wife wanted me to purchase headboard on the same day, but I says wait for while to see what will transpire in this item, we will come back later if needs be, I there fore make arrangement with your store to do delivery on Saturday 06/06 because I’m working during the week, I received phone call from my wife that transporter has informed her that they are heading to place my delivery, On the day I was at work but I make arrangement with my superior to meet transporter at my place, upon arrival I realised that they have not arrived yet and I waited them outside my place with much anticipation, as they arrive at my place I personally introduced myself to them,

They open the bakkie and offload bed, and they told me that they are not going to take to the house due to Covid – 19 pandemic, I then asked them who has to put bed inside the house, I told them that I was not informed about this scenario, they told me that store has promised me something that they do not do, it happened many times whereby store will lied to the customers, they say they will only put it next to the door, we both carry the bed heading to the first floor of the building, unfortunately we couldn’t pass the passage leading to the house due to the size of the bed, option B was to bring the bed thru balcony using rope and lift it up, I suggested that them, immediately crew member start telling me to sign delivery note so that they can leave the premises, while in the conversation driver received phone call from other customer asking him where about him, he told that other customer in my presence that he’s finishing up here at he’s coming to them, mean time we have not even starting to bring the bed to the first floor, they both become inpatient with me and keep on telling me to sign so that they can leave, I keep on begging them to assist me to bring the bed to the first floor thru balcony but no one was willing to listen.
I then told them that if I knew that I will be receiving this type of services I will have never use them as transporter but hire someone who will be willing to assist me, I’m paying this services but I’m not happy with the services. Driver become very aggressive with me and telling me that this’s his business he does not care what I’m saying, he started raising his voice on me, and I pleaded with him to stop that behaviour but he was not ready to budge in, to make matter worse is when he took his phone and walk three meter away from me and make conversation with other person that I’m giving them trouble and someone is coming here to sort me out, I was shocked and confused at same time and still pleading with him to assist me, he then saying to me that If I do not sign delivery note he will take bed back to the store because it’s still his bed not mine, I asked myself how is still his bed because I paid this and delivery as well, while in the confrontation I realised that driver will take the bed and I did not have option but to sign the delivery note, because I was also scare of my life and of family life, after signing they left the bed outside the house and I was still traumatised, I went outside and call other people to assist me to bring the bed in the house thru balcony, with the help of those people that exercise took us less than 5 minutes, I have to pay this additional assist from outsiders,

I felt very embarrassed, humiliated and very small at same time because I was shouted in front of my kids and my neighbours, secondly I have learned how Bradlows treat their customers, and we have made decision that we will never buy anything from this store in general and I will never refer anyone to this brand due to what happened to me, honestly I regret going to that store on the 30/05/2020 because my dignity has been compromised and I become a joke to all my neighbours,
I will welcome the opportunity to discuss this matter further and to learn of how you propose and handle this matter to avoid re-occurrence, I look forward to hearing from you,
