DAMAGED DESK DELIVERED AND STILL IN MY HOUSE AS A WHITE ELEPHANT - Consumer Complaint for Bradlows - Head Office

2. On 3 February 2021 I lodged my complaint through 0800119933 and was attended to by NTWANANO. It was not a pleasant conversation between us as he downplayed my request to have the desk delivered. He was very condescending in his response when he told me that BRADLOWS plan their deliveries. This I interpreted as an indirect way of telling me that a CUSTOMER's planning if at all exists, is inferior and is none of BRADLOW's concern. NTWANANO told me that if I wanted to cancel the purchase, I could do that. I was perturbed by that advice as I least expected it from a BRADLOWS staff.

3.NTWANANO told me the desk was going to be delivered on 9 February 2021. Being told on 3 February 2021 that your desk was going to be delivered 6 days later, was very disturbing to me as it showed that BRADLOWS did not care about their CUSTOMERS and their planning matters more than CUSTOMERS'planning.

4. Today is 10 February 2021, no delivery has taken place and I have not received an explanation regarding FAILURE to deliver on 9 FEBRUARY 2021 as per what NTWANANO told me that BRADLOWS plan their delivery. The only reason I can come to is that BRADLOWS has POOR planning. This poor planning led to BRADLOWS delivering a damaged desk, and again this poor planning has resulted in BRADLOWS failing to deliver on a date that they had chosen themselves based on their PLANNING.

4. I am wondering what are your VALUES as an organization. I will be so surprised if TRUST were one of them. Trust is one of the fundamental values that an organization has to uphold because it is an aspect of a relationship. How BRADLOWS has portrayed themselves in this period, has led me to distrust BRADLOWS and this is what I will share with anyone where an opportunity arises to relate my experience as a BRADLOWS customer.

4. At 11H20 this morning I called the BLUFF BRADLOWS wanting to express my dissatisfaction. I spoke to Hamilton Shangase who told me that Thembi, the salesperson that assisted me was off, and the Store Manager, Roseanne was in a meeting that was going to finish at 12noon. Hamilton Shangase promised that he was going to convey the message to Roseanne for her to call me. It is now after 13H00, I have not received any call from the Store Manager, Roseanne. I guess with BRADLOWS a customer only matters to a certain extent.

5. Am I expected to pay for the DESK I do not have on Monday, 15 February 2021?

6. My house and premises are not a storage or warehouse for your damaged furniture. I am giving you 24 HRS to come and remove your DAMAGED furniture from my property. Failing which I will take the matter up with the Consumer Goods and Service Industry Ombud.
