NO SHOW FOR FIBRE INSTALLATION - Consumer Complaint for Vodacom - Head Office

I recently cancelled my existing contract and signed up with Vodacom for fibre. My installation was scheduled for Monday 26 October at 09h00; however, the installation team did not show up. I phoned at about 12h00 to enquire an was advised they would arrive before 13h00 and am still waiting to this day 30 October 2020.

I work from home and have had no connectivity for the past week as my services with my previous provider had been disconnected in the hope that Vodacom would meet their end of the agreement. I have made numerous follow up calls and spoken to different call center agents. However, no one from the Installation team has bothered to phone me or to explain what is going on. I seem to be the one who phones everyday to follow up to no avail!

I think cancelling my contract was a big mistake! If I had known that this was the level of service to expect, I would never have moved. I think this is totally unacceptable and will definitely put this on Hello Peter as I am not at all impressed.
