Rudeness - Consumer Complaint for PEP STORES

I'm a customer that calculates every price of an item when adding to Carter so when I go to the till I know of an amount that I need to pay. I did a shopping at Pep store in Govern Mbeki, Gqeberha. At till was taking out items from the basket and putting on counter without checking the scanning. When all items were scanned the total amount was a bit high than what I calculated (must have missed an item) Then I politely asked the cashier if she didn't double scan anything. Instead of saying no she answered with a question asking why she would do that??? Tell me if that isn't rude because mistakes do happen. I was not accusing her, the question was polite, I did not make any scene. She did not know where the question was coming from what point of view. Her response was really unpleasant and was unapologetic even after I told her about her harsh response.
