Debit orders going of despite requested cancellation at end of membership - Consumer Complaint for PLANET FITNESS - HEAD OFFICE

I called in June 2020 requesting cancellation of membership, however I was told that there will be a cancellation fee. I couldn't pay the fee at the time due to Covid so I requested my membership be cancelled when the contract ended. This didn't happen and debit order,levy has been going of since. I called the customer service who are extremely rude(Sindy),I requested my debit order to be cancelled as of immediately but I'm told that can only be done end of July.
Planet fitness are rogues,how can they take money when we are not utilizing their facilities? I'm definitely taking this to the media and hope this gym gets shut down. The customer service is trained so well to manipulate clients and insist on still taking money despite client not using the facility. I don't think you guys understand how Covid has financially affected people. It's rather inhumane to have debit orders go out for a gym "contract" and having no food to eat! I will never recommend anyone to join planet fitness and I hope for this gym to be closed down just like how planet fitness is insensitive and disloyal to clients
