I ordered the hake and chips x 2 and a hake and rice. Instead I got hake, chips and onion rings. Also they overcharged me. Instead the employees stand and chat to each other instead of doing their jobs and making sure that the right order is given to the RIGHT customer.

I ordered hake & chips from fishaways Ghand & west. The fish was in good condition but the chips were old and sloppy. Chips tasted horrible n stale. I don't understand why the gave me old stale chips. I was about to eat them even put source but they tested horrible. I kept them.

I'm concerned about the standard of hygiene at fish aways blu valley mall. The person at the till is also working in the kitchen, no gloves, same hands touched the POS till covered in oil and crumbs, then proceeded to touch the card machine, thereafter continued to prepare food. Not forgetting Zero sense of customer service.

I has stopped using the app as on three occasions I did not receive what I ordered
So on Sunday I decided it drive to the outlet on glenugie road in Pinetown KZN
I ordered the special hake and chips with onion rings for 39.95
I checked with the lady three times that it’s the special with onion rings she assured me she was aware of that.
I also ordered prawn pops and a buddy coke
When my order was brought to me my coke was missing I then asked for it
This distracted me and I did not check the rest of my order
When I got home there was NO onion rings in my packet.
I phoned the shop only to be told the lady taking my order captured the incorrect item but not to worry it was the same price.
When I asked the manager what she was going to do to she said say sorry !!!

I will never put my foot in a fish a ways again ...........

On 12January2021 we bought a platter for two at the Parys branch. The lady who took our order was Lydia.
We entered the outlet at 19H00 and they said it was to late for delivery, we placed our order and wait.
After receiving our order we went home, only to discover there were only 2 pieces of fish, no calamari and no onion rings.Our order was not as advertised and we payed the full price.

on the 7th of January 2021, i purchase a meal from fishaway,i wanted to buy the double for 2 that costs R99 but because they could not swap rice for chips i went with a similar meal that had chips in and it was for R119.90 if i remember correctly the code was F10, i was supposed to get, 2 hake, 2salad, 2chips,2 rice, and calamari strips.

The main reason for that purchase was to get chips in the meal, to my disappointment when i got home, there were no chips, instead it was a mix masala of calamari and the fish covered in rice, not only was the packaging horrible and disgusting, but there was no chips in the box.
i googled the number to try inform them of the mistake, but the number just rang.

i had to go out to the nearest shop to get the chips we wanted because it cost me less to buy nearby than to drive all the way back to mall of the south, petrol, parking ticket and my time for chips.

however i am disappointed about the service and the additional money i paid to fishaways for something i did not get.

I bought a double up meal through the uber eats app yesterday 5 January 2021 to a value of R142 from Fishaways southern center in Bloemfontein fleurdal
The fish was stale and the rice was spoilt
I am truly disappointed by Fishaways in Southern center for selling me such. My health and my partners health is affected by this spoilt rice and stale fish because we have stomach cramps, constant vomiting running tummy and nausea which I had to spend money on seeing the doctor because of incompetent employees from fishaways southern center Bloemfontein

I wouldn't recommend Fish ways in Southern center in Bloemfontein fleurdal to any one. With the money I spent on the spoilt meal I could have bought a proper meal with it

I will continue informing people to never bother themselves in buying from fishaways southern center Bloemfontein fleurdal

This is truly disappointing and disgrace that such a big franchise can sell spoilt foods to individuals, they do not care about customers health but only their pockets

I have a complaint regarding the Lenasia South store. On the 28th of December 2020 I made a telephone order for an F4, upsize to medium, lemon sauce and S1 around 6.20 pm for collection as it was proving difficult to make a delivery.

I got to the store around 6.50 pm and my order was ready. I paid for it and left. I opened the packaging around 7.30pm and found that my order was incomplete with the salad. I called the store several times and they, would have issues in hearing me of which they didn't when I ordered. I was eventually advised that my salad would be delivered when 1 of the drivers came back.

I called after 30 minutes as I hadn't received it and I was advised that all the drivers where still out however they'd deliver, and the manager of the store would call me before the driver left the store, however none of that was done.

It's 9.53 pm and the store has closed with no communication from the manager or anyone from the store. This kind of behavior and incompetency is unacceptable as I wouldn't get my food if I was short of money, however I paid full price for an incomplete order. Furthermore, I had to be the one chasing the staff at the store to find out what was going on with my salad. No one bothered to take my query seriously.

I'm very disappointed with the way I have been treated and not taken seriously. Kindly assist in resolving this matter and possibly get competent staff because this is really annoying.

The order was never delivered or executed, they could not be reached to follow up and did not even bothered to contact me to resolve/fix or resolve the mess.

THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPENED IN THE PAST 14 MONTHS. OOR SERVICE AND A DAM DISGRACE!!!

I went to Fishaways in KwaDukuza Mall on the 18 September 2020 and ordered 1 S12 shrimp and rice and 1 F07 Hake calamari and rice as a take away. When I got home and went to eat firstly on the sprimp and rice the rice was spoilt it was sticky and smelling bad and they had 6 tiny shrimp that was so over cooked that it was chewy like bubble gum and only 6 small shrimp in the whole dish.

The Hake and Calamari first the rice there to was spoilt it was sticky and smelling terrible. The Hake fish had fish bones in it and I am not talking about a few bones the whole fish had fish bones in it and they had only 4 pieces of Calamari strips that was fried till it was tough to eat. I paid R127.70 for my meal and I could not eat anything there coz everything that I was given had a problem with it. I was really disappointed with my meal.

I wish to compliant as I went to your Gateway branch with my wife and child for her birthday on the 07/09/20 with terrible service made a purchase ,when I received the food it was wrapped in paper now the question would be, how was I suppose to eat it like a animal to open the paper put it on the table, cant your food presentation improve as I spent R200 would it hurt if your food was presented in boxes like a streetwise 2 container. Aim disgusted. If this is not attended I will go further with the matter.

I would seriously like to lay a complaint against Fishaways @ Gardens Centre Lorraine in PE. I am originally from Johannesburg and my wife and I are huge fans of Fishaways as we believe in your good association, good service and best meals in SA, but it was with sad disappointment yesterday when we decided to visit Fishaways at Gardens Centre as we are in vecation that we received the baddest service ever anyone can get anywhere. We walked into the store at around 19:05 but our order was only captured at 19:09. When placing an order like anyday we asked for a grilled hake but sadly our order took over 35 minutes before we could receive it. No explanation was provided as to why my order was taking forever in the meanwhile while we were waiting for our order. Yet after waiting so long for a simple “F07” meal, when our order came back our hake was grilled but had so much fat running in it. It was literally hake with extra oil on it. As a customer when I tried to complain I was given attitude by the ladies who work there to an extent that we had to ask for our refund. To be honest after the service I don’t see myself referring anyone to Fishaways again nor visiting the branch. From my experience fishaways provides not only the best service but the fastest delivery but that was completely different yesterday. My order way Order No. 96, Chk 9896 from 165 Babalwa. May you please look into this issue. I have a copy of my receipt and I’m willing to take this matter further if not attended to. I’m really dissatisfied with the service I was given. I visited one of your outlet in dobsonvile yesterday to get take away,i order rice and fish and requested that my fish to be grilled,upon receiving my order I checked if the fish was grilled cause on the 5th of may 2018 I ordered grilled fish but when I got home my fish was fried.first bite of the fish felt like the fish was off,i called the store to tell them that the fish was off the lady suggested that I come back to the shop to get another order but I felt like it was unfair,i was already home at that time it was unfair for me to go back to the shop late at night for a mistake that should have happened in the first place,fishways don't you ensure your food are always fresh?or its allowed cause your outlet is based in a township?can we get the same service and products as the people in posh places.please.Im seriously not impressed.
