I bought a printer last week at courts in port Antonio. Went home, opened the printer set it up and went about installing the driver onto my computer. I use a macbook pro which is up to date. After many attempts and checking the canon website, there was no driver that was compatible with my laptop. I returned it to the courts store and I am being told that it cannot be returned as I opened the product.

I purchased a washing machine 7 months ago and it now has a broken transmission and is leaking oil and the legs are rusted which means they will soon cave in. I am being forced to keep this defective machine and have it repaired. And when the warranty runs out in a few months I will be stuck with an old shell. This machine cannot be repaired it needs to be replaced.

I am a long time customer of courts, St Ann's Bay branch. June last year (2019) ,I bought my second Mastertech TV. The first one had a problem and I was unable to get the parts to repair it so i dumped it and went and purchased a second one in June 2019.In July 2020 this one too stopped working so i decided to take it back to the store to find out what could be done .I was told by the manager to pay $9867 and they would have their Technician repair it in short order,it is now October and i now being told that the Technician is unable to get the parts to repair it.The Manager on three seperate visit by me to the store promised that she would call and advise me on the status but to date I have not heard from her, each time I visit the branch she said she should have called me and she is sorry. POOr and totally unacceptable. Why is the company selling a product that not even your own Technician can get the parts for? Why is it that after having the TV from July that i have to pay $9667 for them doing nothing about it not even a phone call...I find it to be unreasonable as once again I will have to dump a second Mastertech TV....The Bureau of Standard should be informed .I still have not gotten back the TV....

I bought a laptop from Courts in March 2020 for school and from the very moment I brought the laptop home and turn it on I realize it was extremely slow I didn’t pay it any mind said I’d just work with it. September came and it’s now time for me to go onto my online classes and would you imagine that the laptop would not give me access to any of my classes. I used a old dell laptop I had and I was able to access my classes and this perfectly new laptop where the sole purpose was for school would not allow me to. So I decided to go back to Courts Constant Spring Branch to advise them of the issue, when I got there I explain the situation to the customer representative he then takes the laptop call his “technical team” he then press two buttons on the keyboard in less than 5 minutes he looks at me and tell me “base on the test the technical team ran my computer is fine and it’s slow because of how I use it”. I then said I’ve only use the laptop about 10 or less times from March cause I really need it for school so I didn’t have a reason to turn it on other than now when I need it so how turning on the laptop and going to google causing the laptop to run slow, he then said he doesn’t know and there’s nothing he can do and that the laptop is not compatible with my classes website bare in mind he didn’t even try the website or anything nothing at all he just gave back the laptop to me. So of course I asked for a manager and she was the exact same thing “there is nothing I can do, you have to call HP that’s who your warranty is with not Courts and am like she didn’t even think or put her self in my shoe I pay a customer is telling you she paid $122,000 for a laptop for school just to realize I can’t use it for school and there’s nothing you can do! she told me to call HP on a “Toll free” number I said to her I know it’s not “TOLL FREE” it is never toll free let me call on your landline phone she said no I can’t use their phone!!! Can you imagine you tell me now! I then take my phone call the number to prove to her that it’s not toll free and so said so done it finish my entire credit and then that’s when she told me I can use their phone to call she was the worst I tell you. And when I called she didn’t even say let me assist with speaking to them something to show empathy no she just went back to her desk then I spend almost an hour speaking to some overseas representative for them to tell me I have to pay 49Usd for them to try and fix it. Telling me that what they have to do to fix it isn’t under my warranty luckily a lady came in and heard the situation and offered to help and said that was the exact problem she had and she gave me the number of her computer guy and I went there and got the problem resolved my laptop can now access my classes and it’s moving way faster he even told me the price that Courts sold me the laptop for was high way robbery smh !!!! I will not recommend anyone to buy laptop from them .... worst customer service I’ve ever received and they obviously don’t care about the customers and their issues. Like what would have happen if the lady didn’t come and hear me talking? I would have a laptop that has no use to me and the company I bought it from cares zero. Very unhappy with the customer service received.

After fulfilling the arrangements with representatives of the company so as to avoid repossession of item, the collection agent responsible for the account made a decision to still collect item without notifying the customer. Customer has made extra efforts to meet the stated demands over a 4 months period and was never told their was a issue that would cause the item to be repossessed. Company represent is saying customer shouldn't have believed what the other agent had said or agreed on such arrangements.

Today I went to the savanna La-mar Branch to get a pro-forma invoice on some items that I was planning to purchase. I went to an eymployee by the name of Dwayne I showed him items then we went to his station to print it. He and another employee started a conversation re an account that some that was a family member or friend of the other employee so he was trying to find out who was investigating that account. He was using his cell phone contacting other persons his office phone to find the investigator at this point I got up went to my car and I was convinced to return for the invoice was important. I waited like 5 mins more then said these exact words could you please just print the invoice so I can leave I’ve been here almost half an our his response was am securing a sale I said came to you first he replied with am multitasking. Then I let him know that he was unprofessional some came in the store so he just turned his back and started assisting the gentleman. The worst costumer service I’ve received to date. It the sale was going to affect him I would not by my stuff there!

I bought a digital washing machine from courts in 2018 . It’s as given me nothing but trouble they came and fix it two times and the third time they want to change the mother board that they have changed four weeks ago. I do not want the mother board to be changed I want it out of my house. They want the warrantY to be up so I don’t get another machine well I will not pay another dime until they change it or take that piece of suit machine out of my house. I am angry and I will never do business with courts Jamaica again.

Was it a mabe washing machine, mine is having problems too with the motherboard but I dont have warranty. SMH They fixed it already and now it the same problem again

I purchased a Mabe washing machine in December of 2018. After my first use in January I learnt the machine was no good. I made several reports to customer service in Sav which after having to get rather upset one day they sent a technician. The technician came and problem was demonstrated he asked if I wanted it fixed or replaced I told him replaced since I learnt by a rep that I would not get the same brand for exchange as they were removed for being faulty. But the technician insisted I fixed it as he has the same brand at home for yrs but I refused. If the batch that I purchased from was removed why should I fix mine. He however sent up a report that the machine can be fixed but that I only want it changed because rep told me the others were removed from market as they are faulty. I made several reports to Mobay branch were I spoke with Ashly and Kingston I believe Patrice(not sure) as Sav will no longer log my report cause each time I’m doing a follow up no one sees a report. But they all knew about the issue due to the amount of time I’ve been there. The manager however was only interested in knowing the name of the rep who told me machines were removed from the market. Since then no one has contacted me about the issue so I still have a washer with 3yrs warranty that I cannot used. I’ve been a customer for 16yrs never been a bother and have a good relationship with almost every staff so this is just a huge disappointment. My money can’t go down the drain like that..

I went to the branch in savanna- la mar Westmoreland to conduct business. I had opened an account with Dwayne a sales rep who was absolutely beautiful, he had a very pleasant demeanor, he took the time out to explain. He displayed exceptional customer service.
However, when I went back I was informed that he is currently on vacation, I came in contact with Waydia another sales rep who was absolutely RUDE! She had no respect, she was constantly on her cellphone, her attention span is very limited and she was unwillingly offering assistance. she did not have the attitude for work. And there was no one there to reprimand her.
I recommend that she receives some form of customer service training.
I had a terrible experience with her.
