I am so angry I bought reflections metallics hair silver grey dye and despite the bad reviews I still went to purchase the box dye thinking dischem is a reputable company I am sure they wont continue selling a hair dye that is not of good standard .I am so angry and frustrated by there false advertising. My hair came out orange and so horrible and I followed the instructions as listed step by step .not only is my hair damaged but its breaking off... I then had to spend so much to go to my hairdresser only for her to tell me I dont have any other option but to cut my hair off in order to save it.

Just to make mention the supplier did not make contact with me as promised by dischem....

On the 11/03/21 I bought a a USN protein bar and as I was about to open it I checked the date it had expired on the 08/03/21 couldn't bring it back the same day since I had already left the centre for work.came back the following day to return the expired item.the service I got from the lady who was doing refunds not even an apology from her on behalf of the store she just made me feel its OK to buy expired stock like really what kind of service is dat.for me to travel to the store again the following day when I was not intending to go to the store just to return a expired item that I took in the shelve is not right I was really not happy at all.and unfortunately I don't have a photo to prove my story but bottom line is I was so disappointed the way the staff don't care when its their fault

I am a supporter of dischem products.. I'm currently waiting on a baby bag for a month now.. I've been told I need to spend R850 or more to qualify, which I did on 11 Feb 2021 and was told I will receive my bag in 4 weeks.. Every time I phone the store, I am told you will get it in the next week.. I am 37 weeks and very close to my due date and still no baby bag. If I had known this will take this long, I would have gone to clicks as they offer the same. Upon phoning the store, I am told each time I will be contacted by someone on the progress of the bag, but yet I'm the one who have to phone all the time.. Now I have to go and buy a brand new baby bag since I'm sure I have spend money for nothing and wasted my time on registering for dischem baby bag.

I bought Garnier products on the 21- 02-2021 at Dischem (jabulani mall) i went there today cause i had a chance, the service that i got there wasn't fair firstly they requested the box i told them that i don't have secondly the product its not full, the lady who was helping me she told me straight that they won't take it, she make a copy and promise ti call me aftet she's spoken with the supplier not happy at all i don't wait for things to be finished. My mother went to Jubilee mall dischem yesterday to buy prescribed medication. Tshepo Mosima gave her wrong medication, my mother tried to tell him that that isn't the one she takes. Tshepo then told her to go home and Google. Today I drove there to adress this issue because this isn't the first time such happened. Tshepiso(the pharmacist)tried to explain but i wasn't satisfied with the answer and wanted to speak to the one who helped my mother. When i asked why he imposed medication that isn't on the script he told me twice that he told my mother to go use Google. For crying out loud my mother is 80 years old.
Do they have a right to change medication prescribed by Doctors and asks elderly people to Google? He is very arrogant and dismisive for a person who is working with people's lives. Can steps be taken to correct his attitude because it is very demeaning especially to elderly people he thinks didn't go to school.
Like i said this isn't the first time such happened to my mother. Sometimes she is given a wrong dose, that is toying with peoples lives. It can't be right.

Yesterday went to dischem at vaal mall to collect my medication. I waited more 15 minutes at collection counter, there was no one to assis. I my self ask one the staff at the dispenser to assist, he just said Mam wait I continue until I join a dispenser quoue.this where I was finally assisted. Am very disappointed with their service attitude. Dispenser Manager contacted me this morning but still she did not own up to the poor service she accused the heaoffice that contacted me to inform me that I needed collect my medication that they were not suppose to say I must collect at the same day, normal a customer comes the next to collect her\him.

I have paid visit to your shop in Dann Rd, Glen Marais on 2March 2021 late afternoon to echange 2 items. Supervisor was NOT the most friendly and I had to repeat twice what I wanted to do. I felt terrible and wanted to leave as I felt like a criminal! This lady do not deserve this position. The cashier at the till was much more friendly who assisted me the way your customers should be treated. I would rather shop at Clicks next time.

I have bought Mabeline and lA girl products and was supposed to get a free gift as advertised.
However I was told there is no stock if free gifts. This is not the first time this has happened. I am highly disappointed and will not accept this again. It always is a problem to get the free gifts that is advertised. If this matter is not sorted asap I will take my complaint to higher authorities

I bought a 65ml aqva divina perfume e and I was supposed to get a gift as it states that if you buy any blgr over 50ml u get a bag only to be told that I must choose between a gift and 25% discount... But this is not what I was told at centurion but they did not have the perfume I wanted so I drove to Olympus only to be told that I must choose. My question is it different in each shop how your sales work?

If you may please refer to the emails below and the timeline to prove the appalling service received from DISCHEM. Please note that I am emailing on behalf of my mom because she’s had enough of empty promises. After doing the covid test, the results were promised in two weeks, obviously this didn’t end up being the case... After waiting not so patiently and missing work for weeks we finally called and complained. Her boss would not allow her back at work until presenting a negative covid test as covid should be taken very SERIOUS. Finally in August someone had called giving the news of the test results coming back positive. As seen in the email below a dischem voucher of R850 was promised due to the service, well in this case, lack of. We are now heading towards the end of February 2021 and this email was dated August 11 2020. Over 6 months and we are still waiting for this voucher. We have been into dischem stores in hopes of getting what was promised and obviously no luck. My last resort will be taking this to social media and I’m hoping it will not get to that stage. Kindly assist with this matter. By the time the results had come out, quarantine was done beyond and no chance of infection thereafter meaning doing this covid test was a complete waste of time, petrol and money. We had come to dischem and payed for a service that we did not receive. Dischem being as big as it is, should not have taken on so many tests if they knew they could not handle it and disappoint customers. All we are wanting is what was promised 6 months back because now my time is being wasted typing out this email because jobs are not being done.

Good Afternoon,

I visited the Vaal Mall dispensary on Saturday and was serviced by a young gentleman by the name of DC Duplessis and I the manner in which he serviced me was absolutely rude, unacceptable and very disrespectful. Upon confronting him he it turns out that he was irritated by the fact that I answered my phone which is honestly very unacceptable as I highly doubt we would have reacted in that manner if I was a person of the same skin colour as he is.

I am very disappointed and really annoyed by the manner in which he treats his customers!!!

I have experienced a bad service at dischem la lucia mall in Durban this morning were I was humiliated and disrespected by one of the pharmacy assistant lady named S.Maken, she started by saying I was talking lies when she asked me about my surname and accused me of giving false information to her I then told her not accuse me of such because she did not even request my ID to prove that she is accusing me wrongly, she then continued screaming and shouting at me in front of all the other customers and I felt humiliated and disrespected by her actions I have never received such bad service from dischem, this employee continued to say I must call her boss John if I have problem after the assistant store front shop manager failed to handle her we he told me he cannot help me I must go to the pharmicst Mr John. This was a very bad experience I had at this pharmacy dischem the behavior displayed by the employee S. Maken was very unpleasant and unprofessional to speak to a patient in the manner she did, I expect feedback from Mr John the pharmicst. And an apology from that lady S. Maken

Why do Dischem charge Almost R200 for elvive hair oil which is not even R80 at Clicks? How do you justify the price difference and does this mean i will have to check everything bought from Dischem in future? There couldn't be a reason for this exorbitant price!!!! And unfair to charge in this in current economic climate. Very disappointed :(

Good evening,my daughter is 33wks pregnant and her Dr ordered Pertussis vaccine for her, we went to Chili lane branch pharmacist at about 16:20, teller 4, don't know his surname.
He checked and came back to say there is no stock, I just got home when I had a call but nobody could assist with the reason for the call.
Today I went to find out who called, the prescription was not loaded, nobody knew about the script which I left,he told me to call in 2 to 3 dys.
Today I found that 1 dose was at the Registered Nurse's office, the injection was reserved for her without any notification, the R/N told me my daughter had to have an appointment yet when I asked if I could fetch her from home.
I am a registered Nurse as well and requested that the medication be given to me to administer, I was told that I could only administer it once it has been verified by the Dr.
I was mad as 'hell' for the incompetence displayed, the lack of communication, a message could have been sent if I was not reached telephonically, your staff need to be more accommodating especially as all this was not my doing, my daughter was with me yesterday.

I visited baywest dischem port Elizabeth at the door the security that sanitize your hands told me if I touch him he will call police and get me arrested while my intentions was not to touch him just get my hands sanitized he made a big seen and went on and on about it while the Co workers just stood there and did nothing we all no the protocols. But my point is why would I touch a man that I hardly know I ain't no prostitute and did not like the manner he spoke to me. And nothing was done about it..... Baywest dischem need to up they game as I'm discussed in the treatment

Hi my name is Phumla Nxumalo 0739752279 Today I went to Dischem to do an appointment I was the first customer waiting for her to come back from the shop floor then after 10 minutes I was there white lady came to be a second customer, the indian lady who is a nurse came after 15 minutes she greeted I told her that am asking to do an appointment she went to her office came back with note book for appointments, I was angry when she started to help white lady who she came after me, I waited till she finished helping her, then I asked her why she does that because she saw I was the first one and most employees saw me sitting there for a long time before the white lady came, she replied that, was I going to take Fiday appointment? of which the white lady took, I said to her that doesn't give her a right to serve her first than me yet I was the first one, you know the nurse didn't even bother to apologize for what she did yet she knew she was wrong, just because I am black I must be the last one to be served, Hell No I refuse I am so angry at Dischem I am really dont think I will ever use Dischem for anything I am a Dischem customer but from today I hate Dischem
