I was giving a bad service from one of your cashierat Bethlehem pep store at high street

She treated me with attitude and arrogance for the mere fact that I ddnt understand the procedure on how to send money and store manager lack skills on how to handle issues like that she was jst standing without saying a word

I need ur intervention I can not be treated like that as customer using my money at your store giving you business

I went today to pep store in heidedal Bloemfontein to exchange an it the service that i got was very unpleasant and the staff is rude to be honest they don't know customers service i wanted to exchange an item that i bought in waterfront i spend more that R1000 in waterfront and 1 Jeans was to small because iam staying heidedal near by i decides to go an exchange the item i didn't get the size of the item and i decided to do a refund the cashier just looked at the slip and asked the next cashier if we dont have this jeans in store we won't be able to refund the cashier next to her reply and say go and asked the manger but anyway the manager went to the bank so i will have to wait for her so i did asked them since when can't you do refund on certain ietms tjey reply and says because it will get markdown and the manager said so the cashier who help me just carried on helping other customer will i was standing there for more than an hour the supervisor in charge was listening to the 2 cashier and replied in sotho saying she musy help me that's why called the manager in waterfront and i did explain to her what happened she was assisting me over the phone she was the one calling me and explained she will help me and i thank her for the service because the staff ib heidedal didn't even consider me as a customer because the time when i called head office and request the branch number they refuse to give it the service in pep twin city mall is very bad why is there a supervisor if she is listening to the staff she didn't even bother to vome to an explain what happen i was in pep store for more than an hour no one helping because of the manver that went to bank after the manager of waterfront called me i went to the supervisor and asked how long must i wait she replied and said is the manger rule they can't help me the service was very bad and i will never put my foot in pep in twin city again they treat you like you are nothing the part that makes me angry is i have the slip the item is having a price on there was nothing wrong with it the supervisor name Grace and staff named kebo they must learn how to treat customers. The item was for kids.

Good day, I went to pep bougainville in Daspoort Pretoria to collect my parcels of pep paxi. The lady who assisted me was rude and lazy cause she did not want to check if my parcel is there she was talking to a fellow colleague in their language . She told me straight it is not there without checking on the system. This is really very poor service if you don't want to render a service close the store.

Good day

I went to pep stores today in Bethlehem, corner of Muller&Murray street. We didn't even realize that my son forgot his mask. We were in the store for only about 5 minutes. When we got to the cashier. She was extremely rude to my son about his mask.She yelled at him asking him why he didn't put on his mask.This lady wore a buff which is also not acceptable according to regulations especially in a clothing store. All the customers next to us could hear this. I asked her why there isn't a staff member at the door to make sure that all regulations are being followed? She just responded that there is no staff member. It is just concerning to me as all retail stores have somebody at the door to make sure that regulations are being followed. My son immediately went outside. He is on cruthes and very vulnerable. He is only 12.
I know that we were in the wrong, but she didn't have to treat him this way. He is only a child. The name of this staff member is Mamolikoe.I demand a apology and I also want to know if steps will be taken against this staff member. If I treat a costumer this way I will be suspended.

Good day. I got a wall clock as present. But want to exchange for something else. As it was a gift do not have a slip. It is however still in the original wrapping. Was told by two extremely rude attendants at carletonville pep home store 5574 that this is not possible. I find this unacceptable.

On 15/12/2020 I was forced to buy a pair of sandals from your Florida branch due to my shoes strap breaking. After paying for the sandals,I asked the cashier, Omphile Modise, for a packet which initially should have been supplied for carrying the new sandals I bought. I still needed the packet because I wanted to carry my broken shoes in them. Omphile, with a bad attitude and air of impatience and disregard refused to give me a packet. His excuse was that he already gave my daughter a packet which was for her purchase of beach thongs, her purchase, not mine, so, what about my purchase, even though I already had my purchase on my feet due to my broken shoes. Rightfully I was supposed to get a packet too for my purchase but this ignorant fool deemed it fit to refuse me a packet. What type of disgusting and unnecessary reaction was that to a customer's plight of a simple request of a packet that was due to her. I left Pep Stores feeling very disappointed and disgusted and told him that I was going to report him. He grinned, said I must go ahead and looked the other way. Thanks to him I don't think I ever want to do any future purchases from Pep Stores ever again. Sadly you lost a loyal customer because when my kids who are now adults was growing up, Pep Stores used to be my store for laybying their and my clothes. Unless you want to lose more customers over a simple request for a packet, please confront this young man for a poor reflection of what Pep Stores stands for. I attach my receipt as a reference to the Cashier's name.

I went to pep in greenfields, East London on the 14tg of December to purchase some goods there. As I went to the clothing section a lady (a clerk who worked there) came and stood there. I know that practice since I worked retail so it didn't bother me. I was done and decided to pay for my things. When I decided to leave the lady at the door shouted can I search your bag (hand bag) not plastic bag. I felt like a thief being watched and being checked. I was there the ay before but I had to leave in a rush since I had the car keys and my mom was on her way back to the car with groceries and I couldn't wait in the line so I put the clothes back. I however been going to the pep for a long time. I don't think I'll step foot there again.

I bought a phone for my mother from pep store from the PEP Cell Mitchell's Plain yesterday the 9th of December when I got home my mom had a look at the phone and didn't like it because is not vibrating so I took it back to the PEP CELL store same day yesterday I asked for a refund or to exchange it for another phone from the the store i even told the lady at the counter that even if its means me putting more money to get another phone I will the lady told me that the phone needs to have a technical problem in order for her to send it in for repairs, I am really pissed off because it took the phone in before the 7 days(same day) could be over how can a cellphone store not be able to do returns or exchange on a cellphone

To whom it may concern.

I am sending this letter full of anger and dissatisfaction from a store Manager by the name of Tshepiso Magubane at PEP CELL Vosloorus at Goldspot.

I made a mistake a purchased Vodacom airtime instead of Cell C when I asked to change to Cell C he said no refunds allow yet I did not ask for refund I asked to change the airtime. She then said if I didn’t leave the store she would help me yet I came back seconds after buying the airtime because I had not left the complex she refused to help me and I left the store without my airtime or my money as she had the voucher with her when I left.

Worse off all she was rude and unhelpful to me as a client in the store.

I would like disciplinary action taken against her and I would like my airtime or my money or is PEP cell a place where client get robbed of their hard earned monies?

This email is my first step in getting what is rightfully mine hopefully you will be able to assist because as I said when I left the shop I didn’t have my airtime or my money.

Was at alberton city pep store and i am disappointed and discussed as to how your staff member handled a issue of my mask falling just under my nose. When we arrived at the store my mask had been under my nose and was asked to put in over which i did do. My partner was taking a few items from the shelf and her mask unfortunately fell off amd when he saw he shouted at her say i already told you to put it on which he did t tell her but me when arriving. When we said he doesn't need to be rude he followed my mother in store saying u wena u talk to much and that was my last straw with this rude and abusive employee of pep stores. We approached the manager and she was so confused as to what was going on as he waa loud with her as well. I was about to spend r2500-r3000 on Christmas clothes for my kids but left it due to his abusive behavior towards my family. 2 other customers also left the store due to Mpho being rude. If this is how pep store employees treat customers then i dont know. I will never shop at any pep stores again i will rather support another clothes outlet. My family also will never put there money into pep either. I buy at pep every month at least twice a month but never again and to loose a big sale like that due to 1 rude employee.

I would like to express my disappointment with the above mentioned shop. My mother (85 years old) bought a voucher at the store in 09 November 2020 as she usually does buy Telkom moble airtime and keeps for when she needs to recharge. Unfortunately she was sold a betting voucher instead of a Telkom recharge voucher.

When she went back to the shop on 05 December 2020 she was told that only the person who sold her the voucher can exchange it, she must come back the following morning. She (with me) went back on 06 December 2020 to find out what the issue was with exchanging the voucher. The story now changed. We were told that the voucher has to be sold for her to get the correct voucher, we should leave the voucher and her telephone number they will call her once the voucher is sold for her to get a refund or buy a new voucher.

When I intervened I was told that I should wait for the manager whom will call the betting company to check if the voucher has been used. A lady entered l, the other lady(Keren, whom we spoke to first) spoke to her, we were never even told that that's the manager. The lady went to the back, came out a few minutes later called me and this is what she explained to me about the voucher. She showed me the bottom of the sleep/invoice where it reads there will be no refunds on the voucher. Asked me if my mother will be home when they call(which was not the case day before as she was told to come back the following morning as the only person who could deal with the issue is the one who sold the voucher)

I asked if there's a policy regarding the exchanges, I was shown the bottom of the receipt.

I asked why are the different explanations from different staff members, I got no answer. What happened was the lady( Penelope 'the manager' I assume) asked me for my number, she said they'll call or sms once the voucher is sold and the day will not end without them(the shop) soughting out the issue

What puzzled me was at one stage she(Penelope) was trying to put the blame squarely on the customer, my mother, saying if the customer bought an incorrect voucher. I immediately stopped her and asked what if it's the cashier's fault ( which is possible), again there was no proper answer.

Penny called me to give me the voucher number around 11:42 on 06 December 2020.

I hope training will be provided to make sure that all staff members understand the policies and procedures to avoid such disappointments and procedure flaws.

I bought a paxi bag from pep and did not use this as I had to send via postnet and could not use this bag any more.I did not open this at all. When I wanted to return this they refused to take this back. Saying they dont refund this bags but they also did not inform me about this when i bought it. I dont understand why they can not take this back and re enter thus into stock????? Or is this just easy way out?
