Sano and Maki gave me very bad customer service with such a terrible attitude. They work at pep cell in Phuthaditjhaba mall. I was there to send a parcel and Sano rudely told me to go back since I don't have a shop number. I tried asking if they can't help me with the shop number since it's the only pep store in the shopping center I was sending to, got a rude reply as well. I then called the store directly since the person I was sending the parcel to didn't know the store number either. I got it then Maki helped me. While entering my number phone, she got one number wrong and when I corrected her, she told me how I'm wasting her time and left me alone at the till and went to the back for about 10 minutes. Mind you I was in a hurry

On the 11th off November 5 customers stand in front of Pep Home at 9:15 the staff walk in at 8:50 when we ask why shop not open they told us they have a staff meeting as my nowlege staff need to be at work from 8:30 to get ready for 9:00 and make sure tills are fine but now 5 customers standing outside as well pep across the street were still close the 1 lady was at 9:20 still standing outside on the sidewalk and talking to a friend if walk in at any Nigel Gauteng Pep their no tills working staff on floor talking to people and customers waiting at service at till points please can some please do something about the poor service can proved photos

I bought a small mens muscle and went back to exchange it and the lady salesperson was friendly and helped a lot and she needed her supervisor/manager to overide or approve the exchange. She called out to him no response, she used their intercom still no response and we waited for almost 10 minutes because she had no idea where he went. The other lady suggested that she call him on the cellphone and still we waited. Eventually he came back chilled as if nothing is urgent. I then got annoyed and asked him if he doesnt see it fit to apologise for keeping me waiting. I will paraphrase:"Gwa tshwana" meaning it doesnt matter. I then told him I will report him he reploed saying he doesnt care I can do whatever I want. His name is Mattie and the lady who was helping me is Ocativa

On the 3/11/2020, I bought a phone at pep going for r1200, the phone started giving me problems and I took it back the lady by the name of founeka was very rude to me and didn't want to help me, mind you I'm just s student so I wanted my money back she was very rude and told me she wont refund me

I went to a Pep store in Machibisa, Edendale Pmb to send a parcel through your Paxi service. This was not the first time I used Paxi at outlets and I had never expirienced any problems at any of your shops except at this particular store.
The cashier who was suppose to assist me requested a store number which, I told him that I do not know it then he said he cannot help me then, I must tell the recipient of the parcel to go to that Pep I intended sending the parcel to and ask for a store number then come back.
I felt this was out of order as customers cannot be expected to know store numbers. If they want us to know them they must publish them in the shops and tell us this is a new procedure that shall be followed.
I'd like to believe that when you introduced the paxi service the intention was to make it easy and convenient to send parcel for any average person. Assist customers and not turn them away.

COMPLAINT #8382 - Customer Service Issues
On the 25th of October 2020 I went to Randburg Pep Home to send money. The 1st amount was R1500 by 11:42,2nd amount R1200 by 11:44 by 11:50 the money was withdrawn at an ABSA ATM in Randburg Square.
I called Pep customer call Centre told them my story, they told me to go open a case with SAPS and go back to the branch, I did just that.
At the Branch the manager gave me forms to fill with all my details nd what happens and she said she will handover the matter to the Area Manager of Randburg stores in Johannesburg then I will hear from them.
It's been 2weeks now I've heard nothing from Pep stores Area Manager.
Yesterday the 8th of November Morning I called again Pep customer call Centre nd spoke to Roshell, she told me that I have to deal with SAPS about my case, me filling those forms at Pep was for Pep records only so I must find out from SAPS about my case with an attitude. Funny enough I didn't send my money via SAPS but Pep Home store in Randburg Johannesburg.
It's been 2weeks now I'm still waiting for Pep Area Manager from Randburg to say something. I'm wondering that Pep doesn't it do their own investigations other than relying only on SAPS.
Im very dissapointed on Pep store about their service nd how they treat their customers.customer service is very poor.
I'm a single parent working very hard for my money to just vanish just like that.
I will put this on all social Media platforms on my Facebook page Twitter to make people aware of what's happening at Pep store, it was my 1st time sending money via Pep and last time nd will never encourage anyone to send money via PEP Stores.

COMPLAINT #8368 - Customer Service Issues
I went to Pep in ballito Junction today the 7th of November 2020 at 18:30 to buy a few items for my 1 year old child. 10 minutes later I see the lights were turned off in the store and doors are shut. I made my way to the till point and enquired the time the store closes and the cashier by the name of Nonhlanhla informed me they close at 19:00 and the supervisor on duty said they close as they please so they can clean. It was 18:40 which was very confusing to me as I am a Manager in a retail store and I have never closed 20 minutes before the mall trading times to clean and with my lights off with a customer still trying to shop... I was extremely disappointed and will never step foot in that store ever again as this is the first Pep store I have been to that has said that and I have been to many Pep stores before. I was unable to complete my shopping so I had to pay for my 3 items and leave as the lights were turned off.!

I sent a direct message on Instagram on 27 October asking about some servers I am interested in buying from pep home. To date no response has been given. Please help me locate these items and advise whether they can be sent to a Mpumalanga or Joburg store?

I tried to courier a package back to a supplier. The supplier utilizes Pep Paxi to courier batteries all the time.
I was met with terrible customer service from the manager herself, Samnge, who refused to courier the package saying that it was too heavy. I asked her to weigh it to see if it was in fact too heavy and she said she did not have a scale.
I also asked her to test putting in the courier bag and she also refused this. She categorically stated that even if it fitted, she would not courier it. I advised her that other Pep stores have couriered such a package several times but she became rude.
She said she could not pick it up yet 3 of us picked it up quite easily and I know for a fact that it meets the weight requirements.
My issue is that this manager is disgustingly rude, she does not consider the customer, she does not listen to reason and she's unwilling even to test if she is following protocol.
I also said that I would be willing to leave the package there and hear what the courier says but she refused.
She then refused to provide me with the contact details of head office and said I can look it up on the website and that she's not scared of a complaint. She also said for me (as the customer) to tell Pep head office to send her a scale.
Is this how head office conducts themselves? That customers need to contact them to tell them what their stores need?

i bought a Hisense phone 10 months ago from Choma in Zambia southern Province PEP store. The phone battery started to bulge and poor screen quality. i requested for an exchanged but the manager new manager refused to start the process because i failed to provide an ear piece which i lots.
i feel i deserve to be treated with respect as the manager belittled me and refused to handle my case.
Kindly help me to repair or exchange my phone.

COMPLAINT #8212 - Refund / Exchange Issues
Hi. At Pep Mega City Umlazi on Saturday 31 October 2020 I bought a cellphone for R799 and paid by card. After discovering I am not satisfied with phone it did not work the way I wanted it too- sometimes it seemed to freeze- I returned the phone for a refund within 3days- on Monday 2November 2020.
The manager refused to take the phone back and give me my money. The slip said I can cone for refund if I bring receipt back and phone in perfect order abd have s complaint. Thabiso at Pep Mega City did not listen to me properly he said there is nothing wrong with the phone- I told him the freezing problem is on and off...but he refused still.
I called the 0860 customer care number that same Monday- its 48hours later but no response. They said they would call back they have not.
I am afraid they are taking long for the area manager to contact me back and then when 7 days have passed I won't get my money back.
Please help me I have been treated unfairly as a customer- I do not want this phone anymore

This Morning i went to pep at Kempton gate I wanted to laybay i was asked for ID i told the cashier i don't have my ID with me i was told she is not going to help me I told her is not the first-time i laybay she told without my ID she can't help me i told her i was once help laybay without ID cause I'm on the system i had to buy one item cash and return the other item.

I hope this mail finds you in good health , as attach my deepest concern on how I was ill treated by pep cell store at bloed street next to kfc.
The service is very bad in a way that you will stand on a long Q and no word of advise or any kind of alert that we are offline , than spending the whole day on the Q . But what I've Obsrved is that there was no offline issue, there staff was about to knock off then they started this issue of we are off line . So in this kind of beahvour where should I pen this matter to ? And I will revisit that pep and see if action is taken if not I will escalate this matter to relevent people.

So I recently saw a dress at Pep charlesville which I liked, I bought the dress and took it home...Yesterday I decided to wear it on a lunch date....to my surprise the stupid thing tore right down the seam on m ass...all the way down. IMAGINE THE EMBARRASSMENT.
I know PEP is supposed to be affordable and all, but using crappy material and low-grade workmanship should stop.

I will tell you my problem. I bought a phone at your store in Atlasville Mall. The phone on the 7th day stopped charging but we could not return it cause store was closed. On the 8th day we returned this phone to be told by your store manager that they will not assist us. Spoke to us like animals and refused to give us the proper treatment as human beings cause we white. Then the regional manager had the audacity to tell me to go learn how to read as the slip stated 7 days as if the closed store was my problem. The storeamager was told she will be reported to which she just laughed at me and gave us the shoulder to show that she is untouchable. I told the Regionalanager that are going to lay charges but to this she was neither concerned about at all. This treatment from a store that claims they are for the people but treatment like this shows another story. If I dont get immediate results on this o am going to run this past every social media service to my disposal and I will take the legal route as well but this I will not let go until this has been dealt with. Today is the 1-11-2020 13:14 and this screenshot has been taken as well.

Pep sunnypark cashiers are very rude and some cashiers are not wearing name tags, I will never use that store. They don't treat paxi customers the same as they treat others ,one time I had a lot of parcels to send,I think about 15 parcels, and they told me thier paxi machines is not working, and immediately after leave I saw them helping someone to send a parcel. They don't treat us the same and I am so disappointed in them

On the 28th I went to Pep store to collect my parcel which was from Phoenix in Durban. When I enter the store after following the prosidure of sanitizing. There lady who was at the door.My question to her was" is this the right quer for collecting parcels, she said yes is only one line.
OK I follow it.
The next thing I see customers following different line and where I was standing it was now becoming long then I ask one customer about their quee,she said to me where i am standing is not right quee.I was very angry as I have been standing there for very long time.
