I bought a mobicel Venus(R849.00) Go at PEP cell(4981)on the 14th October 2020. I went home to start downloading Apps. Just one app in ( whatsapp),The phone freezes for about 1 minutes if I want to exit to another App.I went to PEP store 15 Oct 2020,I got the most appalling attitude from a guy called Thato (rude and not willing to help). Telling me i bought pride not a phone that is why Iam not satisfied.And I was told that is how mobicel works(freezes and anyhow o must be content with it) and there is Nothing he can do as long as is not a technical issue.Was told of o wanted a better phone should have bought a R2000 upwards phone.And i asked if they have now become Pakistans you buy a phone you stuck with it.

I had a problem I buy phone from pep cell in King Williams town and the cashier said I will receive the message that Tell me my number I waited for a long time because I was on my way to I dutywa I decided to used my old SIM card with the same network but my phone doesn't have network it's says data connection only so on Saturday day on the 4day I visited the nearest pep cell and I didn't get help they say they can't help me because I have to get another phone so I must go to where I buy phone the only thing they can do for me is to book for my phone and then I do as they say I take tax to King Williams town on the 7,day but it was a bad luck I came later after that I go on the following day but still I didn't get help they told me about booking and I must also call customer care service even there I didn't get help and I can't take this phone for booking because it was not right from start.

I bought a phone at pep and not even a month later it stopped working I took it to the branch and they told me the cnt change it because it's after 7days.its not my fault the phone not working and it's not even a month.will never again buy from pep and will take this to media

I send my brother to collect parcel at P4754 he take a South African license. At 3pm he was at shop until 5 the shop close no help the cashier say they dont use license come back without servise Im really freak out many people involved in this conversation try to make her understanding bt she's a manager she has to used that position. I call at paxi they say you can collect parcel with license I dont know what the cashier in her mind. I like answers.

form of vulgarity is "cursing" and also lower customer dignity
I layed a complaint at Pep store located at ulundi Nodwengu shopping cntr
Shop No.6

In social media and also by an email.

Latetly I got insulting and threathning comnents from the workers who works with the lady who provided the bad service while i was at store right now they are calling me names

I tought as a customer you do have a right to lay a complain if you were provided with poor service .

On the 24/08/2020 I bought a cellphone at PEP CELL HAZYVIEW after 7 days it started to give me some problems. I have sent it to PEP for repair on the 25/09/2020 & I was called to collect it on the 30/09/2020 but it wasn't fixed and it was booked back again for repair on the 30/09/2020. Yesterday (08/10/2020) I received a message that it is fixed & I should collect it at Vodacom Repairs WICC NELSPRUIT within 90 days. So my concern is I bought the phone at Hazyview not Nelspruit instead my phone should be returned back at Hazyview.& other thing when I bought the phone they gave me the one on display not on the box when I asked why they told me that's how they do it.

Me too I brought a phone a pep mhluzi mall. They gave me the one that was on display, when I asked why, they told me that was the last one . Now the phone is blank I don’t know what is the problem it been 2 weeks now not able to use it.

I was insulted by Nkanyiso in Melmoth pep,jst because I was standing on the queue for more then 15 minutes and asked them to add another cashier bcoz there was only one cashier on the till, the guy told me to go to other stores if I ddnt want to wait,I told him I hv waited long enough to go buy some where else then he told me to shut up and fuck off, he became so aggressive Dat he even came close to me as if he wanted to hit me. I told him to dare try me, he then Said "FUCK U" nd left.the queue was so long and all customers were looking at me as I was shaking nd disappointed.... Pathetic service on earth. Still can't believe that I only went to the store to buy nd I ended up being insulted by da staff member. I hv neva felt ths undermined in my whole life. I am so so pissed.

Good Day

Today the 08th October 2020 Mrs Loots and her daughter Mrs Dutton visited PEP Store Witfield at 13:35 and the following Incident happened in the store”

1.Mrs Dutton went to PEP Witfield to search of a specific pare of slippers.

2.Mrs Loots went to SPAR to draw money.

3.After SPAR Mrs Loots noticed that Mrs Dutton was not back at the Vehicle and went to PEP to look for her.

4.Mrs Loots went to PEP and new that Mrs Dutton was at the slippers stall. I went to the back of the shop and find a male in a very serious conversation with one of PEP ‘s staff members at the shoe department. I called my daughter’s name and she replied at the back of the shoe stand.

5.We went to the till and my daughter stopped at the creams because she always buy the small Ingrams Camphor Cream. Then we noticed this male following us. We then ignored it and join the queue. The male was then somewhere in the store.

6.We were queuing on the social distance stripes.

7.The next minute the male was right next to my back. I request him to please keep social distance. He then made very bad remarks and the staff and supervisor were behind the safety bars.

8.The cashier called and it was our turn. The male went with us climbing nearly on my back. I request him to please keep social distance. He then verbally abuse me. We tried to ignore him. But he got worst

9.The cashier requested the male to social distance and he immediately started swearing and shouting and requested to see the manager

10.The cashier rang up my daughters items to pay. With this male still on our backs and shouting.

11.As soon as my daughter wanted to pay with the debit card he was in between us I requested him please to stand back and keep social distance.

12.I enquire from the manager twice do they have security and that she need to call them. She never called any security.

13.My daughter then waited to pay because this man was on to our backs. My personal feeling was that he wanted to rob us. Both were very scared and careful and aware of this man.

14.He got furious because we did not give him a gab to either see her card pin or give him a chance to rob us. He had some items and threw it through the safety bars to the clerks and pushed over the stand and walked out swearing and screaming that we are racists. At the door his friend was waiting and also screaming.

15.I am writing this note to you to bring under your attention that the PEP Witfield was my favourite shop since they opened many years ago. I was one of their favourite customers and had such a nice relationship with the ex sales ladies, who all left. They were always prepared to phoned and enquire if I could not find something but the current staff are not at all friendly or helpful. And after today I realise under how much pressure they are working. It was very scary and they need to work under the most nervous wrecking circumstances and it seems as if they do not have any SECURITY SERVICES.

16.We were very traumatised and both of us realized today that we can actually not visit PEP Witfield any more for there is no security or safety for the clients when certain clients get out of hand. This is very sad and heart sore for I live one block from PEP and now for one item I need to drive to the East Rand Mall because there seems to be no Security and the Service Level of the staff is very bad especially the Store Manager at no avail she tried to get this man out of the store and to try and save guard her clients through calling Security to remove the client.

17.My suggestion to Head Office of PEP are to upgrade your security and safety of clients at this specific store.

18.I really have sympathy with the staff of PEP Witfield

I bought a router at Montclair pep store on the 7th October 2020 and when I got home I found out that the network they gave me doesn't have a coverage in my area so this morning I went there to find out whether am I liable for refund if not can they give me an all network router
Their answer was no I can't get either of the above and my emotions got into me and I left there on the counter for them to decide what to do with it.in short I lost R600.00 plus the router in less than 24 hours

When I got home and connect it only to find out that the network they have given me is not covered I'm my area and this morning I went back to change to all network router or a refund and they told me it can't be done and I left my router there including my money I paid for it

My phone does not want to open app and screen log. So i took it back to store at Tubatse crossing Burgersfort as it needed wifi but mine was unable to restore it. They tried using the stores n mall wifi. It still couldnt reconnect. So they told me that they will book it at vodacom repairs. So few days later they called saying my phone was not repaired and i asked why? Then they said because it has some cracks so vodacom refused to make any repairs. So i went back home and after some weeks i called the number which they were saying is for vodacom repairs in Nelspruit, unfortunately that number was for their own store. Then i requested the numbers for vodacom repairs and they told me that my phone was never booked in. I called back again and requested the manager, then she said she was never gonna book it in because it has scratches on its face.

I'm a 46 year old male. I went to PEP cell in Enoch Sontonga Mall Katlehong to pay my DSTV account, I was told by the cashier there that I have to purchase something before I pay DSTV. The next month I paid at Chris Hani Mall branch but was never told to purchase something. So I would like to know if it is pep cell's policy or they are just doing their will at Sontonga Mall PEP cell branch.

The manager made a video of me even though she didn't take the shoes back if ever that video goes viral i will go and open a case for her because she said too me she wanted to take a picture of the shoes and she started making a video of me because I asked for her superior because she came to me rude already and i have seen how she treats whites better than black people she even follows the blacks in the store i dont like how she does things if no one listens to me i will go to the media and even the gorveenment if i have to because i cannot be reminded by her of my race everytime i go to the store i dont care how she even explains it

I went back to pep that is located at KwaMamdekazi to return on the 11/06/2020 ,since then they have not said anything about the phone . I went back again on 02/10 /2020 and they just said the phone is still there because of lockdown .

I would like to file a complaint against one of your employees Busisiwe Sithole from your Ulundi branch King Senzangakhona. My mother was trying to send through a parcel for me. She was then asked to give a store number to which the parcel is being sent to. I then asked to speak to her over the phone to explan I don't have such information, surely she can acquire that from her side. Even suggested she contact your customer service she is your employee. To which l was told people like me can never get help who think they know too much. My mother had to go back home without any assistance. She had such attitude towards me. I was really disappointed as I gave always used your paxi services and I have never encountered such problems.

I went to Pep on the 1st of October 2020 to buy a Dstv decoder.It was installed and when I called multichoice to activate my decor and they found out that it's in someone's name not mine. I returned it and and they said it's not their issue. I only want an exchange and Ferndale pep doesn't want to help. Very poor service and rude managers from both Pep. Im disappointed but I want my money back or a new decoder either way. Only one day and I can't be help by Pep yet they took my money. This is pure fraud

I Bought a J4 core phone around June this year it had a problem of switching off on it own took it back they fixed it but wen it's off it screenshot n wen someone call it vibrate but the screen will be off .I asked them if this problem persist wat will they do the lady helping me said she doesn't know ,it will be ok .my phone just fainted it will be ok .. It Got fixed and started a funny sound on the speaker .it didn't last for a month it could faint like they said and be on the next day this happened more than twice took it back to pep told them and l asked if they can give me a new phone or can l atleast change to another fone they refused .They told me to wait until it have a problem for the 3rd time like really .. I'm tired of asking for a day off at wrk just to go to Pep ... l would be grateful if l get my money back ..
