I was at Tonga Mall at Nkomazi Municipality. Ehlanzeni region. They didn't let me in because I had a small parcel (a plastic bag). And I wanted to buy something important. The door man was Masoka.

One of the employees made a seen in store because my wife's buff slides of her face. My wife appologised and immediately put the buff over her face. Meanwhile there were several other people with masks that just cover their mouths. Even one of the cassiers did not wear theìr masks propperly. I showed this to the particular employee and she answered me with an attitude. Surely PEP do not need money from white South Africans any more. Because they allow more privelages to people from other races.

I went to pep store today in rosneath/craigieburn to buy a router for my rain sim but in order to purchase the router needed to try my sim car in it to see if it works so they couldn't help me by doing that they wasn't any help to me and really unhappy about the service

I have never in the history of claims received such cold and unprofessional service. You take advantage of our grief and gives us more grieve with the million paperwork we have to fill in submit and resubmit and resubmit for the 100 times. What is worse is that we are the ones constantly having to phone to find out where in the hell is our money!!!! My dad's I'd 600523 5408 08 8. Filed a claim with the insuarance. Sent through paperwork and waited. NOTHING! called last week Thursday, told to submit forms, submitted again, nothing! Called yesterdayand told they need certified copy of ID, submitted it and STILL Nothing!!! Called today and told to submit copy of ID. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! 2mymo***@gmail.com is the email I sent all documents from. Find them!!! We need to pay for the funeral costs!!!! Damn you to hell Pep funeral. I'm going to make so much noise about how you treat the undeserving, elderly and poor people of our country!!!!

Hi I bought ladies shirt at pep store (Thulamahashe new Mall) in bushbuckridge only to find out they don’t allow people to fit in the store I went home and fit...it’s a small size (the cuts are too small)decided to return it yesterday for an exchange to try alternative size but ddnt fit as well asked for a refund they don’t want to refund me they telling me long stories..is that how you treat your customers?With all due respect I want my refund because I’m so pissed with ur customer service

Good day I'm a regular customer at pep home in Uitenhage branch 5531. Every month from the 25th of each month their DStv payment option is offline. You will stand in a queue of 30 people and when u reach the tillpoint it's off line. This is been going on for the past 12 months. I went to the store on the 23rd of September 2020/offline again on Thursday/offline, Friday the 26th offline again yesterday the 27th again offline then the cashier with the name of Yolanda Annies still rudely say to me "but it only works in the morning when she paid her account. It's not my fault that the system don't work". Surely management should do something about it. I don't wanna stop going to the store cause I buy all my home decor there. Please if u can assist in this regard. Thank u Mrs Jacobs

I went to pep cell Empangeni sanlam centre today to use their paxi service, the cashier who attended to me refused to help me because I didn’t know the code of the store I was sending to, as a customer how am I supposed to know the code of a pep store can’t they find it fore me was my question or rather a request. They blatantly refused and told me to call a person I’m sending the parcel to so that she goes to galleria mall and ask for their code there since I wanted to send the parcel to pep in galleria mall. I then thanked them then proceeded to a pep clothing store in the same centre where I was given a spectacular service without being asked for a store code. Those two women at pep cell should be retaught the meaning and the importance of good customer service as well as the meaning of going an extra mile for a customer. They are actually tarnishing the pep brand

The store was locked at 11h ..... It was opened with this. # Let me open before you cry again. I had a previous complaint about this store , I did not even get a call after I called Customer Service. A small town like Danielskuil. Sebi you need to take off that shirt and rethink why you are in that store even more Working for Pep. Any uniform in fact. As I'm 36 weeks pregnant it's difficult to have a mask on where ever u are I went to pep this morning in jhb newlands and as I do my shopping I keep opening my mask to breath easily but as I'm in the line one meter apart from others and I opened my mash and move it little bit down this staff lady of pep comes to me not asking me nicely but pointing me on my back telling me to put my mask back on as I'm telling her I'm struggling to breath I'm pregnant she gives me a up and down look in front of other costumers telling me nonsense how rude of this woman working in a nice shop like pep I will not show my face at pep again for this was not the way to treat your costumers I'm sorry yes its lock down and all should where mask but just to catch ear now and then is not a crime and then the best part is I'm pregnant and struggling to get air for we all know the baby gets bigger and a woman's lungs struggle to get better ear I'm so disappointed really

I sent little brother to send me a my study material package from Pep KwaMhlanga Crossing using Paxi, he was assisted by a certain Makhosonke Lekhuleni who asked him for a store code. He was connected to me and when asked if these store codes were not listed on the Pep database for convenience he then asked me if I expect him to waste his time looking for the code, besides it was impossible to do. He then said he does not assist people who ask a lot of questions. I then told my brother to leave the whole thing and send the package by post, but Makhosonke then refused to refund him the Paxi plastic bag even though it was unused and bought from him a few minutes earlier. After refusing us service and being rude he was now forcing my little brother to post the package using Paxi or forfeit the money paid for the bag. I called Paxi customer care to get the store code and then asked if it was possible to get the code in store, to which the call center agent answered yes, when you type the store name the system populates all available Paxi points to choose from. This is the same thing Makhosonke claimed to be impossible.

I am a regular byer at Pepstores, 1 of my favorite stores, BUT can somebody please tell me why Worcester Wester cape have 5+ Pepstore shops but not 1 Pepstores home. Small Towns around us, Ceres & Robertson have 1 but Worcester who have so many can't change 1 of them to a Pepstore Home. We have a branch in High street, this store is accessible to the whole town and would be idle for this type of store.

Iam aregular pepcustomer,I sent in my cellfone for repairs,and i kept coming in checking if it is ready,but in vain eventualy Iawas told to pay for repair fees,Ithen ask to see the item before payment is done but they demanded me to payfirst.last visite was yesterday the 21st September2020 they refused me to see my fone.

COMPLAINT #6564 - Service Issues
I'm extremely disappointed by the service I got from one of your shops in Durban Bluff Pepcell specially from a Store Manager...
I bought a Router last week and explain to the lady serving me that can she please make sure that everything works well and activated because I'm Not staying around Bluff so I cannot have time or afford to drive and come back here... They did or should I say they said they did everything and all is loaded and activated. 24hours pass but Router not connected and Im back home then,I had to move from pillar to post, from MTN shops and Pep shops nearby my house to fix the problem with no luck,I had to come back to your Bluff store after 3 days because I was told they are the ones who didn't do 1,2&3.. I called & emailed MTN and my matter was escalated to Manager,And I called you Pepcell customer services also before I drove back to this store..Only when I come with this complain this lady says She didn't know what to do,I stood there waiting for 1hour30minutes and She will just disappear and hide at the back,for about 4times I had to ask the cashier to call her at the back and update me...
After 1h30mns I asked for her again only to come to me and say I have send email

It is 8h53 Tuesday morning, 22 Sept 2020.
I am just from PEP madelief Place.
The store is still close. I made sure I checked the trading hours on the internet.
This is completely unacceptable. I had to go back home and have to go back to the store.
If the store is only opening at 9h00 then the internet should be updated. You can not waste a customers time like this. Secondly there is no trading hours on the door or any of the windows so that we as customers can be informed what time the store opens.
I am so disappointed. Please rectify this concern

Good day, I am complaining with regards to a phone that was sent in on the 10th of July 2020 for repairs, please note the phone was 8 days old. The staff at Toti Mall has been very friendly and I believe just as frustrated as I am, as they were told a month ago that the phone could not be repaired and a new phone would be sent. When one buys a phone it is because you need a phone, not to sit without a phone for over 2 months.
I would appreciate feedback ASAP! the complaint was also lodged with the regional Rep for Pep stores a couple of weeks ago. Please this is getting ridiculous. - Amanzimtoti

COMPLAINT #6439 - Guarantee Or Warranty Issues
Good day, I just want to understand what is the difference between a proof of address from the municipality and from the accounts/billing address? I went to Barkly West Pep stores to purchase an LTE TELKOM simcard but they refused to help with the proof of address from my clothing account. They said they can only help me with the proof of address from the municipality. That's why I want to know the difference between the two. Whereas my sister who resides in Jhb went to festival mall pepcell in kempton Park with her clothing account as proof of address and was able to purchase the simcard. Please let me know why am I not receiving the same service at the smallest town in SA? Where pep store is the only shop that sells simcards?

Dear Pep stores I am very disappointed at your services. I sent my elderly money via pep store money transfer at crossing mall at soshanguve, when she tries to withdraw the money at ABSA ATM it says "Transaction not allowed".
I went to the shop and ask them to help me they said I must call pep customer service when I call it rings play music no one to answer please intervene before I take further actions against you.

COMPLAINT #6415 - Customer Service Issues
I purchased a Samsung A2 in November 2019, in June 2020 it started giving me problems it would say phone is overheating and I should switch off some apps then it turns off the problem persisted I then decided to take phone bad to the store I purchased to be sent for repairs under warranty on 30 Aug 2020. On 17Sep I got a call from Margo saying the assessment was done an they found liquid damage and I will have to pay R2600 for repairs I said I dispute liquid damage and that they must bring back phone. I asked also for proof of physical damage which they refuse to send and they say I must pay for assessment R171 which I was not made aware that I will pay for assessment. Please how can they charge me and refuse to send mr proof. Please assist me to get my phone back as it was as they refusing to bring back my phone.
