PEP SENEKAL. Cashiers Celebrity and Maphelo. Went to pick up a paxi parcel. Everything was scanned and entered without any issues, but the cashier does not give it to me. She doesn't tell me whats the issue just shouts for another cashier not 2 meters away from her. They then talk between themselves. After ten minutes of them talking and not telling me anything, I ask what's the problem, apparently there is a sustem failure. After standing around for 10nmore minutes, without even an apology for the delay, they then decide to do it manually, at which point the cashier asks me with attitude and sarcasm, if I'd like to come back tomorrow and fetch the parcel. Terrible customer service, highly dissapointed.

Iwent to send a parcel at pep cell Cala Eastern cape today , I am not happy with the way one of the cashiers by the name of Sine as shown on the name tag treated me.Firstly she turned me back to look for the box of that parcel after queing for a long time but I didnt mind, but when I came back with the box she with a negative attitude told me to give a store number to where the parcel goes and sinceits my first time to use paxi I asked her if they dont know the store numbers of other pep cell stores since its the same franchise but instead of answering me she was rolling telling me that it is not her job to find the store number for me and I was shocked and confused but before I could say anything her colleague advised me to google the number at least she did better than Sine , okey I used my last R20 which I was going to use as a taxi fare and bought airtym to do as she commanded me, and I tried to google but I found a lot of numbers so I dont know which one was the one so I gave the fone to her so that she can check instead she was sooo agressive and didnt even try to help seeing that Im clueless as I never used paxi before , she didnt even bother to explain what Im supppsed to do because I told her that this is my first time to use paxi instead she said there is no store number here and shoved my phone back to me asking for the next customer whimst am still standing infront of her , I asked her if she is not gonna help me and she said no am not gonna help you with such a confidence and agresivenesss the very same colleague of her is the one who i tervened by asking me nicely tto go and try at pep stores and thats when I left pep cell humiliated because what she did , she did it infront of other customers so I felt disrespected and belittled because the person employed and paid to help and explain to me was the one who illtreated me.

So as advised by her colleague I indeed went to pep store where I was welcomed and assisted without any hiccups and to my surprise the also asked me for the store numver I told them that I dont have or know it but they went an extra mile to use the store fone to help me get the store number , something that Sne didnt do
so I need help urgently as I am writting this am totally wrong and furious because when I arrived at Pep stores as I.explained what my problem was one of the customers there asked me and described this cashier asking if its Sne calling her by name and I said yes she told me that she stopped going to Pep cell because of the same reason so what I want to know where should we go when in need of your services?

Plzz deal with this as soon as possible and I need a feedback on this matter nit only feedback but the consequences too because I can never be treated like that by someone who is suppoesed to help me

On Friday 23/10/2020 I went to PEP HIBBERDENE with an intention to buy few clothes.
My kids fitted some shoes & I wasn’t sure which ones to choose...I then decided to wait until their aunt comes to join us. In the mean time I looked at other things around the vicinity close to the shoe isle whilst some shoes where left on the floor.

An employee named Bongi came to pick those Kids shoes From the floor and she said one day I’ll get stabbed for doing this nonsense. She went on and on. I then asked her if she’s talking to me & if this is all about the shoes she found on the floor as it sounded rather personal. Mind you I don’t even know her. She said if it’s me that left the shoes then yes she’s talking to me. I asked her if she knows why those shoes were left there, unfortunately I was too late to ask. She was already shouting me & we had a whole lot of people coming to watch this scene!

There was a lady who kept telling me to wear a mask (I wasn’t wearing it anymore). I asked to speak to Bongi’s Manager. To my surprise the lady that asked me to wear a mask was actually the manager. I asked her if that’s all she could say as a manager in that whole drama that was happening at the shop.

Long story shot. I sent my kids out & asked their Aunty to come and help me choose the shoes. We proceeded to the pay point. Where we were attended by the same Bongi. I’m very disgusted to even say this!!! I asked for the body oil, she said I must be specific (with a very bad attitude. A footage can be visited to prove as her gestures were very contemptuous). She told me “there’s hair, baby, body, foot oil...am I supposed to predict which oil you want?” She said to her manager “help me answer siyangihlanyela lesilima means “lunatic idiot” she doesn’t know what she wants” then the manager said there’s no oil, I then asked her why would Bongi ask me the kind of oil I want when there isn’t any available? I was already speechless and very humiliated at that time, hence my sister had intervened and insulted her back.
Before we could leave the the shop she said “I hope you have noted my face and I don’t stay in this shop”. I then told her I’ll wait for her after work.
After work I went back and told her to stab me as she has earlier on said. She didn’t deny to have said she’d stab me, I then called 2 of the people I was going with to witness what she said. I then told the manager (as she was there as well) I’ll be filing a complaint formally on Monday as I’ve noticed her junior (Bongi) doesn’t even respect her & her helplessness in that situation showed me clearly that she can’t do anything.

I need to get aN urgent response from PEP as I am proceeding to file a case at SAPS.

I arrived at the door of pep cell Seshego Circle on the 25th October 2020 at 12:53 and their door was closed.

I stood there as someone could clearly see me as she had started cleaning the floor. She opened the door and I told her I'm on time to be helped why are their doors closed? and said their system is offline they can't help me with my paxi parcel I must come the following day. I asked her to check their system again as I was there already and she refused to let me in. She said they can't do anything to help but to my surprise the pep in the same complex was still open and operational.

She asked to see my message but wouldn't open the door. Someone was behind their till and also said nothing to this disservice.

My mom deposited money at Pep this morning in Mpumalanga for us to buy Groceries and upon withdrawal the slip said the money had been redeemed (Absa Atm) being confused we went inside the store and they told us the money had been withdrawn we then advised mom to go back to Pep and ask what happened as she did she found out that five minutes after she deposited the money it was being withdrawn in another Pep (Extension 13 Mpumalanga) so that is logically and realistically impossible (walking and Driving) so that proves Pep stores is either fraudulent or their stuff is either way please refund my mother's money back she is not working and that is money to buy Groceries!!!!
Please get back to me asap I have contacted the police for further investigations.

Good day, I purchased a kicka cellphone for R399 at the Pep store in Vincent. I was not aware the phone is network locked. The lady selling me the phone only asked if I have my own sim card, and I said yes. When I got home I was told by my wife I can't use my sim card on it as it only caters for Vodacom only. As you would know everyone buys a cellphone first in order to put in a simcard, but in this manner im being forced to only stick to Vodacom simcard ofwhich I'm not willing to do that.

I bought a Kicka 4 Plus Vodacom phone on the 30/08/2020 from PEP in Polokwane.

This phone is manufactured by : MobiWire SAS in France. I use this phone to run my roofing business. 2 nights ago, the phone suddenly STOPPED WORKING.

I charged the phone on the same night but the phone never charged. I tried to charge it again yesterday but it still never charged.

I went to VodaCom Southgate mall to have the phone examined. The VodaCom consultant told me to take the phone PEP STORES.

Today, the 21/10/20 I went to PEP at church street. When entering the store, i reported to security why i have come to the store. The time was around 1h45 pm.

The security told me i should go back to Polokwane because that's where i bought the phone.

I said no, thats impossible, i stay in Johannesburg, going to Polokwane in impractical, let alone this is an emergency because i use the phone every day in running my business.

She let me in. I asked for the manager. A lady named Lebohang Maseko came over to attend to me.

She told me the phone can be booked in but i will have to wait 3 to 4 weeks before i can have my phone back from repairs.

I told her its impossible that i can be a month without my phone. I have critical information that i use on a daily basis and besides, i need to be contactable and i need to be able to make calls.

Lebohang Maseko gave me the following numbers to call : 0861 72 67 26 - she told me the courier will put me through to Vodacom- I phoned this number. Its RAM Couriers , the lady at RAM Courier told me she cant put me through to Voda com. The store should assist me with that. I called for Lebogang as she left to attend to other things i suppose.

She came back to me. Lebohang is of no help at all. When i ask her why it takes that long to have a phone repaired she said she does not know.

I asked if there was some one senior i can speak to, she went off to call Maggie Vanga.

Maggie Vanga phoned the store manager who is on leave. The Store Managers name is Ellen Mei. She told me that its policy- there is nothing she can do about it. She dismissed me. She said i should go speak to VodaCom. I told her that VodaCom asked me to speak to PEP, How can PEP now send me back to VodaCom.

She dismissed me by asking to speak to Maggie, I handed the phone to Maggie- Nothing transpired out of their brief conversation after i handed the phone over to Maggie.

Maggie gave me this number to call : 0800 205 106 , I called the number. I was dismissed with immediate effect by the lady who answered the call. She told me i must phone Customer Care. I called customer care, i received no help at all.In fact i was cut off. i was told batteries to the phone were low. Maggie came over to me and told me that they can no longer help me. I either give the phone in and wait for it 3-4 weeks or i can not be assisted at all.

I write to humbly inform you that under no circumstances can i be without a phone a whole month. I run a business and i depend on it.

PEP is such a big company and such acute in efficiencies in your operations are un fortunate. I read through other peoples complaints and its amazing how similar our complaints against PEP are.

I will submit my phone for repairs only at your prompt response to this complaint. I warn that should it take you more than 2 days to respond to this letter, i shall duly submit my phone for repairs.

I shall wait for what so ever time it shall take to have the phone repaired. Should i not receive my phone fixed at least a week after i have handed the phone in, shall claim loss of business per day multiplied by the number of days it will take you to hand back my phone fixed and operating the way it should operate.

I visited your PEP store in Jhb Bree Simmons Street this morning 19/10/2020 around past nine (9) and I received a horrible service from the store manager his name is Sibusiso, I was in your store to come and exchange items I bought yesterday 18/10/2020 at Soshanguve Crossing due to incorrect size. As I entered the door there was a security and I advised him that I was there for exchange and he told me to stand in the line to be assisted, Which I did and I spoke to a cashier that advised me to leave the items with her and go to the floor to choose for another items, after getting what I wanted the store manager (Sibusiso) rudely instructed me to stand in the again so that I can be assisted. I told him that is time consuming for us customers and I cannot spend over 30 minutes in the store for exchange and He further told me that if I don't want to follow his rules then I should go shop somewhere and that the store doesn't need my money.

I was at pepstore stilfontein on the 15th of october 2020 and saw a beautiful pink and white shoe(it looks like those nike children sandals) and thought to myself "I'll be here tomorrow". I was true to my word and went there on the 16th of october and tried to buy it,but could not due to the price being off. My question is why is it still on display if it can't be sold and why is it not in the system so that such problems can be avoided?? I would like this to be rectified honestly i did not appreciate that apparently the lady who knows the prices was nowhere to be found. On another note i bought the black tp-link router cash on 15 october and to this day i experience immense problems with it. Please respond accordingly to my complaint.Thank you!

I bought a black ladies skirt size 28 early last month September...and i tried wearing it this morning, the skirt was small and it couldnt fit me...i then checked for a slip and i couldn't find the slip..
I then took the slip and went straight to Court where im working...after the knock off time i went to Pep store In Bothaville Free State....when i got there i asked to see a manager then she came and her names are Sonti Dlamini.

I then told her that i would like to exchange the skirt and take size 30 as size 28 its too small..at that time i already have a size 30 on my hands already...because they still having those skirts at the store...she then told me that she can't help me if i don't have the receipt with me...i then tried explaining to her that i checked all over for that receipt but i could not find it...she then said i must sell that skirt to someone else as if i sell clothes... she then continued to tell me that and even if she decides to help me the priceof those skirts have already being reduced to R100 is not R139.00 anymore...so she's not going to be able to help anyway....i then told her that but Elsie which is the store manager of that Pep store helped this other lady to exchange without a receipt so why is she not helping..she started being so offended...and started asking other ladies that are working there if she's lying or not...
I then paid the size 30 skirt...and on my surprise the skirt was still R139.00 which she said tje skirt has been reduced...
I then told her that im going to report her she then said i should go ahead....
