On the 07/09/2020, I made a lay by for a HP 15 inch in cavendish square. However when I went to go make my last payment on the 29/01/2021 I was informed that my laptop has been sold and that there is no way that they can get a closed one for me as it has been discontinued. I was appalled because this is NOT what is supposed to happen with a lay by. A lay by means that that item is put aside for the customer and no one else is to touch it. They then proceeded to ask me to wait. One sales consultant was helpful while everyone else either kept their heads down or approached me like it was not their problem. The manager would barely communicate with me, which was very disappointing as one would think the manager would resolve the issue instead he wanted to end the situation as fast as possible without giving an apology. Luckily the sales consultant explained things to me. They then gave me a model HP ENVY but I still had to pay the full price, after a day of setting things up on the model laptop it sometimes freezes are takes time to respond. I find this very unacceptable. I was also informed that this was not the first time this happened. And that there was another customer on the same day that this happened to. I was really happy with your lay by service, and would have recommended you to all my friends, but now I don’t think I will since you don’t have follow the basic rules of a lay by.
I would like a response to this situation as soon as possible or I would have to take things as far as I can.

I bought a Dell laptop at the Incredible Connection Diamond Pavillion shop in Kimberley on 22/11/2020. I was told to register on their website for the 3 year warranty. On the same day I submitted the form provided on the website. The next day I did so again after I had gone back to the shop to ascertain where on the invoice I could find inter alia the "SKU number". On that occasion my submission included a copy of the invoice. After having received no response, I repeated this procedure on 1/12/2020, but still no warranty certificate was received. I have made use of the chat facility on the website and I have called customer service (0860 011 700), who just told me to submit another registration form, which I did.
Other than an email from incre***@jdg.co.za on 1/12/2020 (after having lodged a complaint), promising that I would be contacted by a representative, I have to date ("incredibly") not received any further response to my complaint. I have not been contacted by a representative, neither have I received the extended warranty that I am entitled to.

I'm really disappointed on the incredible connection application process last week 19/01/2021 I applied online and later that evening I received an SMS that that my application was provisionally approved and that I needed to submit my ID, 3x Bank statement and latest payslip at Table Mall. On Saturday 23/01/2021 I went to submit all the documents the entire process took an hour to facilitate, they wouldn't accept my three months bank then I had to give them my 6 months bank e-statement, that was not good enough for them mind you the bank statement had the bank stamp. On Monday they called, Informing me that they can't accept the e-statement bank statement I submitted they need the one from the actual bank. I explained to Nikki who was assisting me that I work in Kuilsriver and knoff at 5 there's no way I could make it at their store before 6. To satisfy they annoying tedious process I withdrew my bank statement outside the ATM Monday afternoon after work and asked my sister to hand deliver it on my behalf the following day. On Wednesday morning I received a call from Incredible Connection that my October statement does not have my name and that I need to go back to the bank and ask for a statement that has my name on it. All the bank statements i submitted had my initials, surname as well as my address but that was not good enough. I am seriously annoyed and Incredible connection has completely wasted my time where I could have applied for credit as where. They process is Tedious, time consuming and utterly slow. I would never recommend them to anyone, the statement comes directly from the bank, e-statement was not acceptable, 6 months statements was also not acceptable heavens knows what you want.

This morning I went to Incredible Connection Tygervalley, Cape Town to have my ac adapter of my Dell laptop checked out and to buy a new one if necessary. So I asked a salesperson on the floor if they could possibly assist me and tell me if my charger could be faulty. He took the charger went over to a Dell laptop and plugged it in all while I was trying to explain to him what exactly happened and what message came on my laptop screen when this adapter was plugged in. He kept on dismissing me and just told me the adapter is fine and working. So I asked him to please explain to me why it does not charge my laptop nor my daughters new laptop, but he says it is fine. Once again I was just abruptly told, IT WORKS! So I told him it makes no sense and if he would listen to my story he would understand. He was not interested and did not listen to me one bit and just kept saying it works. So I asked to speak to a technician... upon which he replied, once again, in a rude tone, he will tell you the same thing! He just would not give me the time of day and should not be attending to people as he has no people skills and is downright rude! I then left the shop and went to Computer Mania where I was assisted by friendly staff members who listened and helped me sort out the issue. I did indeed need a new adapter and bought one from them. If your sales person took the time to hear me out and acted in a courteous manner I would have bought the adapter at Incredible Connection. I am appalled that staff get to treat customers like this and I would really like feedback on this matter. His name is Gidon or Gideon, he was mumbling so I couldn't hear properly. My phone went in for repairs on 9 January 2021. I called on Friday 22 January and spoke to Neo who told me that my phone has been fixed and is on it's way back with courier to the store. I called on Monday 25 January but no one could tell me if the phone is there. Again today I called and spoke to Nkolisi who hang up on me. I am disgusted with the lack of client service at this store!!!!

I purchased a Lenovo laptop in December of 2019 from The Grove in Pretoria. I kept it in its’ original box until mid January when my IT consultant could set up my computer. 10 days later the power button ceased working. I took the machine in to the store and handed it in for assessment. The repair section took ages and then COVID hit. When the store finally reopened I got the laptop back. The power button failed again and I had to repeat the whole process. After numerous requests, I was finally told that the motherboard had given in on both occasions. Finally, after a significant amount of time, in the beginning of July 2020, I was given a new Lenovo laptop, which the manager organised with Lenovo. 5 months later the power button again refused to
come on (same symptom). I handed it in on 13 December 2020 and have heard nothing since. It is now 25 January 2021. To make things worse, The Grove store has moved and has not reopened yet. Please help!!!

Please be advised that I have been in and out of incredible connection clearwater mall with regards to my paper work for credit not being captured correctly on the system and so this worked up the back and fourth communication between a staff member at the Clearwater mall branch and a lady from head office. I do not appreciate the back and fourth thing on my end cause every time we upload my papers, head office finds an error at a time and it becomes a mission cause I get called to go into the branch and redo the process. The products really needed are for my children's school. Please can someone help get this resolved. I feel if someone from head office was kind enough to assist and go the extra mile to help the lady at the branch then things would have gone much smoother

Visited the Incredible Connection store at Witbank Highveld Mall. No one to assist . Was there to purchase a razer gaming headset. I found an open box and I was inspecting the product. A Mr Tiaan Du Plessis approaches and rudely tells me don’t open the box , so I informed him that it was opened and is there anyone to assist as I had been there for 10min already. He didn’t greet and was very unfriendly. I then asked should I take my business somewhere else and then he tells me you more than welcome to. Sad, in a struggling industry you still employ such people. I did purchase my product at a different store . Well done , if your company carries on with this unfriendly and rude service it will follow the Dion Wired Route .

We purchased a cellphone from Incredible Connection, Nicholway, In February 2020. In July the charger pin broke, we took it to them, and 3 weeks later, it had still not been sent to the relevant branch for fixing. We then asked for the phone back. Calls backwards and forwards, 7mnths later, was called this morning to say I can fetch my phone. I arrived to fetch it , only to be told, they had made a mistake, my phone was still not back from wherever it had been sent to. They have had my phone for 7 months!!

I visited the Incredible Connection at the Garden Route Mall (George) on the 18th of December and ordered a Macbook which was promised to be collected within 3-4 working days. It's now been almost 2 weeks and day-after-day I'm promised to receive it, and that its on its way. The branch manager is fully aware of the situation, however nothing is done to ensure that what's promised day-after-day gets delivered.
