I took out a contract with the retentions dept and due to no stock the phone was not delivered and asked to choose another phone, however I've been paying for that said phone since.

Above is the service request logged. Daily I've been calling in and fighting with Vodacom. I've been given a quick turn around time of 24-48 hours and its been close to 2 weeks now. Whenever I call the only information I get is that the matter is being escalated, but escalating is pointless...

(2 days later i received the sound bar ONLY). According to the delivery company this was the only item they were told to deliver.

I called customer care on the 26 November 2019 who the system showed that the order was complete (but i did not received all of it) she then said they would log a request and it would take 3 - 5 days. NO RESPONSE

I then called again today spoke to Ntlantla who put me through to aftersales where i spoke to Nshenzo who put me through to customer care who again said that i should speak to customer service

I then called 08217544 spoke to londi, who put me through to aftersales again was on the for 2 mins and the line cut out.
I then called aftersales directly and they did not answer.

I eventually emailed, customer care and on the Vodacom website.

I received the following sms.

I then contacted flook who asked if i have voucher numbers. I NEVER RECEIVED VOUCHERS for the purchase as it was not an item available from flook rather from the vodacom app itself, i therefore did not require a voucher; I PAIA EFT to vodacom for the items above.

CAN YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHY I AM BEING REFERRED TO FLOOK? HOW THIS QUERY IS RESOLVED? I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY ITEMS OR MY MONEY.

This is really unacceptable service. I am really disappointed as these items were christmas presents. I need clarity on what happens now. Please can someone sort this out and get back to me as soon as possible.

After paying R 6 400.00 on my account on monday 30 November 2020, my line is still not re-connected. Everytime I phone customer care I was told to wait 2-3 hours, but sadly nothing. Today is 7 December 2020.

I had a 24 months data contract with vodacom, when I saw it's coming to an end.i phoned vodacom agent to assist me in maintaining my discount which I was promised would happen. I then also upgraded before the first of this month so that i am in the safe side . To my surprise the upgrade did not go through this months and I'm to pay double of what I was paying last month. Today the 7th I called vodacom and they r moving me from 1 help desk to another and are very rude to me..I'm so exhausted ...you can call me, I can re-explain my story

I called to cancel my contract which was out of the contract period as MTN had a better deal for black Friday.

The Vodacom cancellations department insisted on matching or beating the deal of MTN which was R799 including VAT.

Vodacom confirmed telephonically at R787 per month. A few days later, I see an invoice of R787 plus VAT. That's a complete ripoff. I will not accept you trying to steal from me. Vodacom are liars. I cant reach your cancellations department due to some stupid issue of my number being blocked as a result of too many calls to Vodacom, some ridiculous issue about preventing fraud. I have cc'd ICASA in an email. I'm yet to receive any resolution.

I require this sorted out, or cancelled completely, TODAY.

Vodacom have reached out to me via Social Media, they then called me and sorted the issue out in writing.

Contract cancellation after 24 months, I'm very disappointed with vodacom service,no one is willing to help me I do phone 082 1958 and customer service 135 even 1960 at vodacom it is an issue to cancel the I didn't receive any help on this if I'm.visiting the branch they keep giving me the same no 0821958 of which I'm do not get any assistance.Vodacom keep deducting on my account but I finished to pay off the phone contract my deal to vodacom was a cell phone contract with out airtime or data.

Cancelled in July, again confirm August, September and October and again November. Waiting on supervisor to return my complaint and credit my account.

My account with Vodacom was in credit for more than 10 years.

I'm paying for a fibre contract 8 months already and it has not been installed in my unit. I was promised that I will be installed within 3 months. I was only given a router with monthly 100G data. Vodacom refused to switch to uncapped data due to the delay in the installation. I have since learnt that there is Wi-Fi cables in my area but I have been made to wait 8 months for installation, paying a full subscription. I'm a loyal vodacom customer of so many years. I won't be renewing my primary contract with vodacom, I feel abused. My 4 Children could not study and attend online classes during the lockdown due to this experience. The TV box I had purchased for streaming was a waste. My conclusion is that vodacom does not care about me and my family. I just wonder if all customers of different races are treated this way.

Having filed a problem with my network, the Network department sent an SMS stating they couldn't get hold of me, but gave me no way to get hold of them besides Customer Care. Customer care can't help me. After being hung up on twice by the system, and having spoken with 2 supervisors, the only answer I got was "they'll send an email.
I give up.

A Vodacom technician came out on 23 November 2020 to configure the fibre router after this my internet was working. The next morning when I logged in it said no internet access. On 25 November 2020 received a mail to confirm that the sale was completed and that the service was activated. Nope keep on getting no access error.

I have been trying to get my combo contract to be cancelled by Vodacom. My contract for 0828055668 and 0827889332 is ending on the 19th of Dec 2020. I called Vodacom on the 3rd of Nov and after the consultant waisted my time trying to sell me something else , she told me she couldn’t assist I just call after the 4th of Nov. I called on the 20th and I was advised that cancellation had been loaded . I called again yesterday and I was told that no cancellation was loaded. Please assist with cancellation urgently as I have been calling in and trying but instead nothing Is being done

I have been having so many probs with vodacom. Firstly I applied for a contract.it was approved. Then some lady phoned me to confirm all so she can send the phone. She said it was an open line and I wanted a top up line.Now i know for a fact that I chose a open line and my daughter will confirm this seeing she was with me when I applied online. The same thing happened to her so by the way. Well the lady said she can't fix it and she will have to cancel the order and I must reapply. I did and it was declined.Iphoned vodacom and asked what was going on and they said I can't re apply so soon. I must wait 90 days. I filed a complaint and they said they can't help me seeing it was my fault that I chose the wrong package. I got a call from Leonard that works for vodacom. He was very very rude and would not even listen to me. How the hell does vodacom have people work for them that are so rude.Needless to say,he was no help at all. I will be taking my business to MTN. And this after we have been customers of vodacom for many years. Bad really bad service. And this guy Leonard should be fired for treating customers so bad.

I have a problem with vodacom service since from September 2020 when I recharge I will make some calls and be left with some amount of airtime when I wake up the following day the airtime is finished. I kept quiet monitoring this stealing process of people's airtime, I reported this but still by October and November 2020 it happened again,the same thing now in December still it still happening. I have two phones one of the number it is for Telkom and the other is vodacom when I call vodacom to report my issue they are saying they find that I call myself even at night this is impossible how can a person call himself, I believe vodacom network systems has been compromised, I feel it is not safe to use it anymore. If this is not vodacom personal doing this thing of stealing then they must find a thief,I for me, I was rating vodacom as the best network to be use in RSA but with this issue am leaving it now.

I had a contract with vodacom which I settled in October instead of September because I wasn't aware that it's not cancelled. Well and good they debited my account in October. November around the 9th I went to game to try a take a new contract and boom to my surprise the status is saying prelegal. I have been contacting subscribers collection from that day until this moment and I am getting the same story " just wait for 2hrs and it will be cleared or yes we can see the matter has been escalated and the supervisor will do it manually as we don't understand why it's not changing " at some point my number was blocked and had to use my airtime because it looked like fraud as I have been calling several times. I sent the email to customer service and the same story was told that I should wait for 2hrs or give it about 5-7 working days. Now it's almost a month and nothing has changed so meaning I am stuck even though I settled my contract. My case ref is 1-34844050072903 May please somebody help as I am really pissed off with this

My daughters device was submitted for repairs, due to the phone just not going on anymore after we charged it, it was assessed and concluded that its beyond economic repairs, and i was going to get a replacement device with the value of the insured.
Today I'm told my claim is declined because its not accidental, although this device has been repaired twice because of falling and cracked screens. this warrants an acceptance for the device, as I have been paying monthly premiums to get a piece of mind and a working device. i cannot accept that the device could not switch on, that only indicates damages. I have spoken to Laurene and Barbra from the client services.

I applied for vodacom Fibre on the app, multiple times, no one got back to me. I called them, the said it would take 48 hours maximum to get me activated. 48 hours passed, they keep pushing from pillar to post, no one knows what's going on. You cant even speak to a supervisor. Stay away from vodacom

1. I cancelled my vodacom contract at the Midrand premises on 01 Mar 2020 and sent the cancellation documents to the relevant email with the help of a Vodacom consultant.
2. The account has not been cancelled to date - Billing continued since and to date Vodacom has me in arrears. This is the only account in my credit history that is in arrears.
3. I have made countless calls to the Vodacom helplines and all the time I am promised that the account is going to be cancelled.
4. I cannot believe that I am still battling with the same issue 9 months after the cancellation of the contract.

I went to vodacom in Kroonstad
I took my contract phone to them to repair the cracked screen
It's been the 3rd month of paying without having the phone to use when I got to the shop to ask what is going when will my phone arrive it was sent back to them still with a cracked screen soo they told me someone forgot to fill in the paperwork for the phone soo then they sent it back with the paperwork and I'm struggling without my phone I'm paying my phone every month this is the 3rd month without even having my phone
I'm getting really frustrated with there service
